We had a great time celebrating my birthday last night. Service, food and the atmosphere was fantastic. Definitely Ketchikan’s premier spot for dinner.

Our service great. The food tasted delicious. They ran out of halibut, but really treated us great.

We ate here the other day. The food was good. It's on the spendy side but it is a nice place and it brings something different to Ketchikan. The macaroni could have used more sauce but the tiramisu was wonderful. Request a booth and. show up before sunset to see the beautiful view.

We ate at Bush Pilots Lounge this evening. I love this place delicious food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff. It is my 3rd time there and each visit gets better. Can't wait for #4!

I was born and raised in KTN. Now living in Hawai'i (so the high prices weren't a shock to me) I was also a member of the Moose lodge that was originally located here. I absolutely love what they have done with the place. Classy and elegant. (Although I think the front lobby could have been used for more seating) Came in for apps before heading to the Nutcracker. Our server was JC and she was such a delight. Very friendly, helpful, funny, and knowledgeable about the building and menu. The only thing that was a little off was the beer bottles being thrown into the trash extremely loudly (bar) maybe just place them in can Highly recommended for a special night out!

What a fun bar/restaurant on the water. It's a great place watching the sea planes fly in and out while having a cocktail. The waitstaff was friendly, kind and extremely knowledgeable. We loved having dinner- everything was delicious.

It's nice but overrated and madly over priced. They don't have hard alcohol for mixed drinks and the service is hit or miss. Trying to be fancy when they should be more worried about the basics but great for young people who think expensive equals good.

Made reservations, dressed to the nines with my husband to go full out. We were sat at a table in the middle of the restaurant that I can only describe as a place one should sit at with a cup of coffee, and a pastry- no more. Certainly not for a full on 250$ dinner. This was very odd to even have tables like this as they have no place in a decent dinner restaurant. The wait staff had a difficult time fitting our entrees on it, and all we could do was laugh. As far as the rest, it was overpriced for the quality. One elk steak was straight up rare, the other medium rare (what we wanted) and bland. Green beans had clearly been sitting on a warmer for a few hours. Mussels were dry, lots of broken and punctured shells which was odd and 4 weren't opened, and somehow they still decided to serve it. Dessert, a peach cobbler was small and standard. Burrata had an odd worm star on top, at an attempt for creativity? A very Ketchikan style experience, for Michelin star pricing. Ketchikan quality food pretending not to be. Lots of platitudes and puns throughout the menu, and everywhere else you look but no mention of the farms they source from. Staff were friendly but not communicative with each other. Repeatedly took our share plates, we were left without utensils twice and one server got stuck delivering food while we were still eating our mussels and didn't know what to do so we just let them take them away to make it less awkward. Food delivered without utensils. Maybe it was their first night and never got trained. A different server was almost horrified with how quickly we finished our shared dessert, like we were goblins...? but we just wanted to get out of the awkward table and chairs. Not bad, but definitely not what it is trying to be. Music was good, my company was 5 stars and the hand made pottery was a cool touch, but it all felt like harvested ideas, not an original vision.

Expensive but every thing we have had has been delicious. This place is typical full so a reserve is a must. My only complaint being rushed out the door because seating is limited.

We had dinner last nite. Pricey but well worth it. An excellent wine list. I ordered the coffee rubbed elk chops with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and Donna had the steak and salad. Both dishes presented beautifully and even more importantly they were delicious. Peach cobbler for desert topped off a perfect meal. From the greeting when we arrived to our server Louise L, everyone was engaging and very helpful. We highly recommend Bush Pilots Lounge. The location fits the name, situated on the waterfront overlooking several seaplanes - bush aircraft one landed and taxied up while we were dining. Seating was either in the dining room or the bar area - both well appointed. Street side parking I did not see a garage.

Best steak house in town! You can tell a lot of thought and effort was put into creating a classy and casual vibe where you can come dressed up for a date or as a local in jeans and a tshirt. Very friendly staff, and amazing cooks. 10/10 would recommend!

I had the huntsman’s meatloaf and it was amazing. The atmosphere was calm and cozy. From the time I entered to the time I left was just perfect.

Atmosphere and service excellent. Music a bit loud for my taste, but conversation was still possible, and music helped drown out the conversations of others nearby, as this is a busy place. It's no surprise it's busy, it's excellent. Service excellent. Food is excellent. Ambiance Excellent. Attention to detail amazing- in restaurant design, decor, custom plates made with a Ketchikan imprint in the bottom... They were a down a server the night we came, and still the service was top-notch.Highly recommend. We needed a restaurant like this in Ketchikan. Stands well above the rest.Brie-eautiful (appetizer) Be sure to eat the fruit and cheese together. It pairs perfectly when eaten together. Perfect soft, warm, crunchy, salty, cool, sweet combination when eaten together. Outstanding. Recommend.Steak Frites served with a braised chard and sauce of your choice that is meant to be eaten WITH (in the same bite as) the sliced steak meat. Eaten together, it is excellent. As separate parts, the parts aren't amazing; but eaten together, the parts complement each other well to make a stand-out dish. Different textures and complimenting unique flavors... very yummy. I recommend the Alaskan chimichurri (tastes of Alaska for sure with spruce tips as the main ingredient) over the whisky-peppercorn sauce (a bit too beef boullion tasting for my liking). Delicious meal. Recommend.Huntsman Meatloaf. Hearty. You can tell the meat used is good quality. The meatloaf is not greasy. Soft inside, delicious grilled exterior. Sauce served on it. Perfectly cooked skinny greenbeans and delicious mashed potatoes. Yummy, perhaps a bit less moist of a meatloaf than what you might be used to, though excellent in its own right. Flavorful. Recommend.Kid-friendliness: We didn't bring our children, but would've been happy too. The only thing that might prevent us is the pricing. Kids would love the airplane decor and float planes parked in the water outside. Great place.
