Just moved from Texas THIS IS THE BEST Mexican food in Ketchikan!!! A Must Go!!! This is not that California stuff but closer to TexMex flavors full of bite and Fresh and Hot!!!! Sweet people who own and run their business so please take good care of them and Prices where Low 15$ a plate.. some places in Ketchikan wayyyyy overpriced and charge the locals 25-49+ for a plate of food shame on them!! Charge the tourist sure.. but that money is not part of the local economy.. us locals should be getting discounts to help these businesses to stay open in the off season!! Take care of the hands that feed you!! Us locals put our money back into the local economy!!

So yummy. A smaller restaurant but with some of the best pizza. We loved the taco pizza option they had. The lady running the restaurant was super kind and very accommodating for our group of seven.

I've lived most of my life in the Southwest. As the likelihood of finding good Mexican food diminishes the farther one gets from Mexico, I had my doubts about Chico's.

I tried it because the place down the street costs close to double. Upon entering, I was impressed by the murals on the walls, Mexican music and the overall ambience. I was greeted by an actual Latina with a Mexican accent.

I ordered the #3 - two cheese enchiladas with beans and rice. Muy rico! A few days later I returned with a friend who's from Mexico, who also enjoyed his meal (#19, I believe).

They have three beers on tap. The only improvement I can suggest would be to offer margaritas, or at least margaritas in a can.

This Arizonan recommends this casual sit-down restaurant without reservations (see what I did there?!).

Really solid spot. Not going to blow you away, but consistently good and easier on your wallet than OceanPhew.

I have come here for lunch twice now, and I can say that both experiences have been very good.

The service is pleasant, they take your order quickly and everything arrives in good time even if it's busy.

I noticed that they changed the menu, they reduced it to suddenly be faster, which is good.

The portions are excellent and taste great, just like home-cooked food. It's a shame they don't have original drinks but it's understandable given the location.

If I have the opportunity to go back, I will. It is a warm environment despite being small, they always keep it clean.

Nice spot in town.
The food is plentiful and flavorful. It’s pretty simple Mexican dishes. They also have a pizza menu.
It doesn’t get crowded, it’s a small place but not much action at dinner.
Service was attentive.

The food was amazing, probably some of the most authentic Mexican I've ever had in my life. Chico was in the back cooking, and the server was very friendly and attentive.

Vegetarian options: If you're open to eating fish, there are dishes for you!

Dietary restrictions: They might modify dishes if you have an allergy, depending what it is.

Parking: You can park all around town, so there are plenty of spots close to the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: We had 5 kids: 1.5, 7, 14, 17, and 20. Everyone found something they liked, and the server was really friendly with our littlest one.

Wheelchair accessibility: You could get in and seated. It might be a tight squeeze, the restaurant is a bit small.
