Did not like the customer service, when asked how much the hoodies were No tags or prices on the hoodies. First was told $45.00 then I wasn’t going to buy them at that price. Then she says oh those are $35.00 each. I purchased two. But when I was looking the hoodies are way up on the windows edge out of reach. The cashier didn’t even bother to help ( no customers were in the building) I paid by card and she gave me “no receipt) Thank goodness that my bank notifies me every time there is a transaction. I will not buy from there anymore. Sad transaction!

I had a very nice time in local grounds. Lily was in the kitchen making my buffalo chicken wrap, it was very tasty, thank you Lily, I later came for a açai bowl which was fantastic, fruit and peanut butter really make the trick, I loved it and would have it again.
The person to greet me was Zuly, she does an amazing work and is very kind, I was not sure what to get and she introduced me to the chai world, she made some recommendations which I took and never will regret. From now all I'm drinking is chai, that drink was way above exceeding expectations. I think she may be a world class barista.
The one thing I did not like was that everything is served in one use containers or wrapped in paper to take out. Even if you are eating in the restaurant.
They serve a lot of people from cruises so it's kinda understandable but there should be more eco-friendly and more comfortable options for eating inside.

We had breakfast at Local Grounds after being on a cruise ship for several days and it was the change of pace we all needed! The breakfast burritos and latte were a highlight!!

For me the coffee wasn’t very good. I like really bold and strong coffee and it was very weak and watery. I recommend offering a bolder blend for those that enjoy a good cup of coffee.
The best Americano I've had since Tallahassee, Florida. I am incredibly glad I stopped here.

Was walking around looking for a great breakfast spot and this place fit the bill! Yummy coffee and alternate dairy options, and although there isn’t a specifically designated GF menu they do have options that will work for those without concern of severe issues. My daughters and I have celiac and we enjoyed an açaí bowl without granola and breakfast platters of egg whites and bacon. If you’re in Ketchikan I highly recommend giving the kind folks at Local Grounds a visit!

Great little coffee shop. Plenty of seating upstairs. Bar has a good selection of local brews. Close to docks

Barisa seemed annoyed to take my order. took forever making my coffee while never stopping conversation with whoever else was before me, friend or customer I could't tell.
Polar treats right next door has better coffee and service

Very watery oat milk latte (almost cannot taste the coffee flavor) made with Monin syrup - would not recommend going unless you wanted the spacious seating upstairs on a rainy day

Ordered a latte, lady poured a whole load of Ice, and the espresso looked so watery. Clearly she made me an iced americano. I guess the coffee shop staff doesn’t know the difference between latte and americano? Way to rip people over. Do not recommend

Great coffee and food! I got a 12oz white chocolate mocha, peanut butter protein shake and dark chocolate and sea salt liege waffle. All very very good! $19 for everything. Do recommend
