I dont know where to begin, my family and i came on vacation and this had to be the worst service we have ever encountered. This place wasnt even busy not sure what their problem was and i hate to say that i felt discriminated for not being a local. We got seated ordered our drinks and food, when our drinks came out my OJ tasted watered down when we asked if we could exchange for another drink the waiter said she had just changed the filter and she would bring out a new juice when she brought the new juice out it tasted the same at this point i wasnt going to ask to change my juice i was going to add a new drink but server never made her way back to our table 45 minutes later we noticed people who had gotten to the cafe after us had already got their food and where paying we nicely asked why our food was taking so long, they said our food was not placed because the server failed to ask what type of eggs we wanted. Our food was never placed they never attempted to even ask at this point we wanted to walk out and not pay for the drinks but we did. We never got an apology for the inconvenience, in conclusion if your out visiting ketchikan alaska do not visit this is not a friendly cafe!

Serviceable diner. Expensive by lower 48 standards but right in line with the high prices in Ketchikan.
One of just a few breakfast places that are open in the winter and out of cruise season.
Large portions and tasty.

Came in for breakfast with my daughter. We’re from Texas visiting and we both got meals to share. Both were DELICIOUS I got the biscuit and gravy and it’s the best I mean the best I’ve ever had you can tell everything is made from scratch and if it isn’t WELL DONE to the chefs. It was so much food I ate it later for brunch. The pancakes were delicious chocolate chip pancakes, also seemed made from scratch they were light fluffy and delicious not too much chocolate chips even amount eggs were cooked to perfection. Everything was just delicious, of course with delicious fresh food you’ll have to wait for it so please be patient there’s a bit of a wait but it’s worth the wait. I’m horrible with names but I think her name was Kristie she’s super awesome and gave my daughter and I a great welcome to Ketchikan Alaska.

Paid 19:50 for frozen chicken and fry’s out of a bag , when I paid the waitress tried keeping 10$ out of my change for a “tip” without asking. I had to reach behind counter and get it back as she set it aside. Keep in mind I paid and she said “have a good day” never offered my change back so it is not a miscommunication. Not to mention 33$ for frozen food that hurt me and my wife’s stomach. My chicken tasted like fish as was fried in same fryer as my wife’s octopus. Both were already breaded and frozen from the factory presumably arrived frozen and kept frozen aka not FRESH . Not fresh or quality food or good service nor a good price 1/10 will not come again. and would give a 0 if possible. One a positive note you’ll get your overpriced slop quickly.

My sister and I ate at this restaurant on August 29, 2025. Christina was our server and she was very nice and helpful. The food portions were huge and reasonable priced. The cafe was in a 1950's theme. It was a great experience. I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Ketchikan!!
