They have various options of typical beers from here in Alaska and the bar tender was very friendly, the music and great atmosphere were totally recommended.

Hi,I want to acknowledge an employee for their work on Christmas Eve. I had gotten into an accident 5 miles north of town, and the wonderful driver promptly picked us up. I didn’t realize until this morning that I had left my wallet in the cab until I went out on the porch and found a note the driver had written and the location where I could pick it up.

The best bar in town as far as I'm concerned, every time I come to Ketchikan from POW I'm sure to stop by to shoot some pool and grab a Bloody Maria.

We stopped in midmorning for a Bloody Mary and were met by friendly staff and welcoming locals. This is a little hidden gem which you might walk right by and never see. The crossing guard actually told us how to find it. After three bloody's and tons of fun conversation with the locals we were ready to head back to the ship. Be sure to stop in if you are ever in Ketchikan.

Stopped into this business on the liquor store side to buy cigarettes, joked about the price of a pack, over $15! The cashier became angry and told us we could buy them elsewhere so we did! Never expected to be treated that way :(

Best place to buy Alcohol to take back "in your bag" to the ship.

Our server at the Ketchikan distillery pointed us to this place. We wanted to look at their selection of local product in the liquor store area- and we were not disappointed. They have a nice selection of local Alaska distilled alcohol. I had never wanted to stand in the giant line in Juneau for the Amalga distillery in Juneau- but they had the gin at the Sourdough. So I am now the proud owner of a bottle of Amalga gin- thank you Sourdough! I found the gentleman who helped is pick out our bottle extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Looking for a piece of local history? Check out the 90 year old Sourdough Bar. Lots to look at on the walls, from boat wrecks to record setting fish mounts. The best part of the visit was our bartender Connor. He was even keeled and entertaining. That says a lot considering we had a party of 12 drunk cruise ship tourists. Do yourself a favor and visit the Sourdough.

Thank you for the hospitality Conner! We loved the experience! Can't wait to come back again. But "Please Keep It Down!!" Jk.

They're a quaint neighborhood bar with an adjoining liquor store, which we patronized. It's compact but with a good selection. The guy at the counter was very helpful and we selected a local gin. Price is reasonable. The atmosphere is Alaska grunge which totally fits its neighborhood motif - most cruise people walk on by. I give it a 4.5 only because some snooty people might be put off by it. That's not fair.

A 97 year old bar with its 4th generation owner! Locals are great...they have no problem telling the history of the place...hard working bartender...great location to the cruise ships...a MUST stop...I gave no food rating...not sure they have any(?)
