We found this restaurant by random while exploring the Salmon Walk in Ketchikan, and it couldn’t have been more fitting. After making our way up what felt like a step street, we ended up on this wooden deck, high up in the trees, with a view that made it feel like we were literally in an eagle’s nest looking out over Ketchikan. The name fits perfectly. The crisp, cool air and the open-air vibe just added to the experience.
We shared an oven-baked pizza that was absolutely packed with flavor, and my friend had an old fashioned that was seriously on point—big ice, perfectly crafted. Even though I didn’t have one myself, it was too good not to mention.
This place just hits all the right notes—great food, amazing drinks, and a setting you won’t forget. I’d come back again, no question.

Talked to Bubba in the kitchen, he was a real righteous dude! Mariah the manager was a sweetheart! She had a delicious chicken pesto pizza just added to the menu, was a first to try it. Highly recommend taking the walk up the stairs for breathtaking views and stupendous pizza!!

Fantastic pizza with wonderful toppings and combinations. The thin crust is beautifully done and perfectly cooked. They have wonderfully cooked brisket and other variety of meats. I absolutely loved it here.
Great pizza.

Incredible pizza and meatball sub. Don’t you dare leave without trying the spamoni cake. A must after a long day of hiking

Unique and yummy pizza with a great view, just a little hard to get to and find if you're not at the adjoining lodge.

Really good pizza, just a little spendy, even for Ketchikan. Doesn't stop me from going there a couple of times a month.

Great view. You *can* get it for free if you wait 25 minutes to get a menu after being seated without much subsequent acknowledgement.
Kind of annoying to hike all the way up only to sit there without menus or service. I finally went to the bar to get menus so at least we were prepared to order quickly when the server was available.
We left without ever being able to order. It was a bummer because other reviews and photos made the pizza look tasty. I wish we could've tried it.
Perhaps the team was having an off day, but still, there's slow, and then there's *slow*.

I can't speak much for this place than the atmosphere. They had the place closed early for a special event, which kind of sucked after the long walk up the hill. Be aware that happens.
Great view though.

Love the location and view, and the food was outstanding! I had the Roni one day and the Texas bbq pizza another day, both were perfectly cooked and tasted excellent. Service was a little slow for the crowd on the slow day, but not unbearably so and the busy day brought better and faster service. The oven itself is a conversation piece, and the staff were extremely friendly and patient. Loved the spruce tip soda and the tiramisu was tasty! Will certainly return.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had! Can be tricky to find this place but the atmosphere was awesome and the views were perfect! We were lucky to grab a table outside and soak in the views. Great local brews on tap, the service was excellent, and the pizzas were all phenomenal. My favorite was the “Eagle’s Egg” which was a bbq delight! We’re only in town for a few days but we might try to come back again before we go!

This was the most spectacular restaurant I have ever visited. The pizza was a 11/10, best pizza that I have ever been graced with the opportunity of touching it to my tongue. If you ever get a chance to visit this sacred temple, do it. Also, the music selection was impeccable. Attached is a photo of the view I was graced with. I would like to thank the creator of this fine establishment, and I would like to tell any visitor of Ketchikan that The Eagle’s Nest is a must- attend.
