One of two bars in king salmon. Much newer, nicer, and well cared for.

Atmosphere is fun, service leaves much to be desired. Kitchen closes at 7pm on Sundays if you happen to be on a late flight back into King Salmon, couldn't even get a plate of french fries...

There are basically no options for dinner, so you take what you can get when you’re stuck in King Salmon. Food is okay but the drinks are incredible. Get the lavender lemon drop!
And if you happen to see the Watters Edge food bus across the parking lot - RUN THERE. She leaves at 5:30 on some days and you don’t want to miss her for the most incredible dinner ❤️

It's hard because there's not much to choose from in King Salmon. Unfortunately, we received lack luster service, not once but on two separate occasions. Just prepare yourself for potential disappointment.
The burger was good and the atmosphere is nice. Service was slow but they were busy. But something has to be said when a restaurant charges $2 for a Sysco plastic cup of mayo and $2 for a Sysco plastic cup of BBQ sauce

Absolutely will NOT be eating at Sockeye ever again. Well, myself and about 20 other fisherman that we fish with. Worst experience in a restaurant hands down. Screwed up 3 of the orders, had to come back 2 times to confirm. TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER the orders start coming out. Cold, 3 orders completely wrong and the server had no intention of any apology or to make it right with an attitude to top it off. 3 other tables were sat and served before we got our food, 2 of those tables ate and left before we were even served. None of our table was drinking alcohol and we watched our server bring consistent drinks to every table around us before even asking if we needed more water/soda. If you're not padding their sales with liquor drinks, stay away. Evidently sockeye shares more about liquor sales than food service.

In the remote town of King Salmon, this casual place is my preferred choice to get a meal. All day breakfast and classic dinner basics such as hamburgers and pulled pork. There are some vegetarian options. Service is prompt.

We spent two nights in King Salmon, and we ate and drank at Sockeye Saloon both nights. The staff here are super friendly. We got to meet bartenders Wyatt and Romney, and they are very friendly. There is a big choice of drinks available, all well priced, and the food is really good too. We had the cheese pizza, and one of the pasta dishes. We also had the BLT. Because King Salmon is quite a small town there isn’t a lot of choice, however Sockeye would fit in anywhere. It’s a very welcoming bar with delicious food.

Restaurant experience was great. Had a Sunday brunch and the portions were very generous. BLT with egg was incredible. Atmosphere was so much fun. Had variety sports tv to quiet dining or bar if you wanted. Great home town feel. Highly recommend this restaurant.
There aren't many places in King Salmon, but this place was delicious for dinner and lunch. The staff were always so friendly and it was clean.
