I’ve purchased king crab, halibut, smoked salmon and scallops from Island Seafoods many times as gifts for my daughter’s family because they love seafood. They are very helpful and have always taken good care of me, and I always get quality seafood from them. I wouldn’t purchase seafood anywhere else.

Fu@&$ng lying thieves. We were there fishing in July and dropped off all of our fish over the period of a week. Went to pick up our fish before our flight only to be told they didn’t touch any of it. They said they would get to the fish and we can pay for shipping. I contacted them 3 times! And was told once they shut down to COVID and they never responded to any emails after that. Two and a half months later, ZERO response, ZERO fish! Don’t trust them with your fish! They will give it away to someone else or process and sell it and never give it to you! F&@k these As&holes!

When I let Island Seafoods know what happened I was hoping to get reimbursed the FedEx $ but they offered to reship. I am totally blown away by this service. Now I can have my dinner gatherings and share the awesome seafood!

Island Seafoods has been taking care of our catch every trip for the past decade. They do a great job and we have never had a problem getting our fish home which involves almost 24 hours of travel. They also have seafood for sale that appears to be of good quality. We have in the past bought some items to fill out our 50# travel containers and have been pleased with the product. Great and helpful crew.

We were newbies. First first fishing trip in alaska. These guys smelled the blood and lined up like sharks! Our charter captain told us that we could pay for the fish we wanted and donate the rest. We limited out on all species. A guy from island seafoods boards the boat and says it’s $2.55lb for processing. We confirmed that we could donate the fish we didnt want.Our group wanted 100lbs of fish.We donated the rest. This was July 3rd. Our group called the morning of the 5th and verified price and shipping for 500.00 for the 100# of fish later that day We get a call on the 5th asking for 900.00 and telling us we had to pay the processing on the donated fish. We said no that’s not what was agreed on. The next day we get a call saying that the captain was going to pay for the donated fish and we could have our 100# shipped to anchorage for 695.00 we declined again because this was again not the agreed on price. I do not like leaving the buisness with fish l, but with no one being up front with us about paying for processing on all the fish we caught and then island seafoods jacking around the price for pricing from 900-500 it was just a bad taste in our mouth. Felt that had someone been honest about the processing procedure, cost and shipping cost upfront they could have avoided all of the hassle, and I wonder how many other poor newbies they bait and switch with this tactic of yeah you can donate, then ca and say oh you now owe three times the amount pay up or else.

On the advise of a native Alaskan, I started ordering Island Seafoods as gifts every now and again. Fantastic quality and quick shipping. You get what you pay for. The salmon and halibut are top notch and the rockfish is also outstanding and highly recommended.
Ordered 4lbs king crab all the way down here in Oklahoma! Delivered within 24hours of shipping and was still perfectly frozen. Thankfully because of my big brother who lives in Kodiak, we knew how great Island Seafood was prior to ordering but now I know it’s just an reliable across the country
