I found THE place for breakfast in Kodiak! Wonderful meal and service!
Great view and food
men’s bathroom was beyond disgusting,... and when you’re done with your greasy meal, you’re gonna need it soon thereafter for a King-sized expulsion...and the toilet didn’t flush, so it was even worse after I left. starve yourself til lunch and eat elsewhere.
We travel a lot. This was the first place we ate breakfast at and it was our first time being there. Out of all the places we had ever been to, King's Diner has the best hashbrowns. Love the staff that worked there today.
Eleanor had been so amazing to me and my family. I grew up in this place Watching my dad work, then I started bussing tables as soon as I was old enough to work and my daughter did the same. As long as we lived in Kodiak we had a job and a hot meal which means so much to me. Thank you Eleanor ❤️
Good food, horrible customer service. They act like you should be grateful to be served, it's like dealing with teenagers on their first job but much more expensive.
The food was super yummy and the staff are so kind and attentive. The reason for four stars is that we waited for over an hour for our food. They were upfront with us and told us after we were sat at a table that it could take as long as an hour. It's just difficult to wait for breakfast that long.
Apparently the only "breakfast" place in town. Food is great but place is understaffed. 1 hour wait for steak and eggs. Get in there early!
Family style atmosphere and great food. Ate breakfast here 3 times out of 4 days. Very pleasant staff and pretty quick service.
The food is good. Just takes 2 hours to get it. Bathrooms are always dirty.

Best breakfast on Kodiak! Very nice, fast service. Excellent food. Just a plain old diner filled with locals most days -- which says a lot about the food. Always go where the locals go.
Service was friendly and awesome. Food good. (Recommend the rhubarb pie for breakfast.) Understaffing shows: food slow and bathrooms dirty.
Great food, service with a smile, but waited way too long to have the food served. Fantastic food, but why does the food take so long. I witnessed 1 table leave because the wait was so long. Please get another cook in your restaurant and keep your bathrooms cleaner
Two stars as food was good. Service is the worst I ever found. Extremely slow and keeping the "invisible costumer" attitude all the time. If you have two hours for your breakfast, this is your place. Other cases: AVOID!!!
Fabulous old time american cafe. Food very good. Feels like going back in time to the 50s. Service a bit slow but the place is always full
