Sadly, upon entering the restaurant as it opens at 5pm, the floors were still wet with dirty water and sticky from an uncl ean mop. The ladies' restroom was also dirty, which leads one to come to the conclusion that the kitchen was too.

Picturesque riverfront setting, with waterfront warehouse kinda vibe. Friendly, but a bit inattentive service. Decent food, neither here nor there. The salmon was probably the most ordinary salmon I had in Alaska, which is the home of salmon!

They must be short staffed because the wait was over an hour for 3 sushi rolls and a miso soup. The sushi was okay- not the best I’ve had but not bad either. I’m not sure it was worth the wait. The view from the dining room onto the water is beautiful though! Don’t come here unless you have several hours to burn.

We didn't expect to find anything like that on an island so remote, but this place is worthy of sushi lovers like us. The Chu toro was excellent. Take a seat at the counter and enjoy freshly prepared sushi while interacting directly with the chef. This place is a must-visit for genuine sushi aficionados.

We were recommended to this restaurant by a local B&B This place needs to be shut down. The floor is sticky. The salt shakers on the table were so sticky and gooey. You couldn’t even touch them. Food was terrible. The grease oozed out of the tempura. I would recommend McDonald’s over eating here and I don’t eat McDonald’s either.

Best Japanese/sushi/Asian restaurant in Kodiak! Excellent selection and choices, beer, wine, sake and presentation. We ordered the Sushi B plate and salmon salad and were very satisfied - tasted super fresh. Would recommend any of the sushi/nigiri options. As a bonus, we sat on the water side and were able to watch a seal and fin whale swimming in the inlet!
Kid-friendliness: Separate kids meal and “kids” chopsticks - but our little one loved the egg rolls.
