Stood 10min at the bar and there's not an employee in sight. At least 10 people at the bar already drinking or waiting for the bartender but there's no one anywhere to be seen. Don't know where they are but I feel like 10min is long enough to check on your bar.

Tony's is awesome. Just a fun place to hang out with your favorite people in Kodiak, shoot some pool, throw some darts, listen to some live music every once in a while. It's been my wife's and my favorite place to go to do some country dancing. You can't get the full Kodiak experience without hitting Tony's on a Friday or Saturday night.

Local Kodiak Alaska bar. Place is huge. Great tap beer selection, full pull tab area. Pool tables. A local favorite for sure.
I've been to Tony's bar quite a bit in the past 4 years and the bartender Jenna who has started working not long ago has been by far the best bartender I've seen at a dive type bar. I'm giving a 5 start review only because of that woman. other wise it would be a more regular rating

Sitting at the top of the old horseshoe bar with a freshly cooked pizza, a good local Alaskan Beer, and a couple screens in front of me. Tony's treats me good for a good price with good service. Wings are back on the menu as well. Atmosphere is changing for the better. Some new renovations have updated some walls and added new leather booths too. There are a couple more TVs scattered around so you can see one from most vantage points. Also installing new speakers for surround sound.

Typical "dive bar," and, truthfully, based on their sign about being the biggest hazard to navigation (we're boat people), we had to try it.From that standpoint, it met expectations. However, we just came for a drink, after we saw what was on the menu. Even the bartender couldn't recommend the food, AND the other folks at the bar next to us kept smoking (indoors? Is that even legal anymore?)Rating it as "ok" is appropriate. We were on a pub crawl anyway and it was our first stop. Been there, done it...won't do it again.
