Unfortunately, my trip this summer was canceled, so I didn’t get the chance to stay at the lodge. However, I wanted to share how impressed I am with the Scotts, the owner exceptional service. He was incredibly understanding and went out of his way to assist me with all my questions, making me feel valued even though I wasn’t able to visit. Their kindness and professionalism truly stood out, and I’m looking forward to staying here in the future. If you are looking for somewhere to stay while in the area, make sure not to miss the opportunity .

Our meals at Trail Lake Restaurant were delicious, and the service was fast and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the fish and chips and the warm kale and Brussel salad with grilled salmon.

I wouldn’t recommend this lodge. I got the Worst stay experience at the property, really shocked by the DIRTY bedding

A big disappointment. Breakfast sandwich was a previously digested egg, bacon and hash brown bleh. The room was dirty. The coffee maker had a load of dust to make me sneeze. The couch bed was a torture machine. The staff were kind and the view was beautiful and fun.Definitely not worth almost $200!

Really good lunch today when I stopped in. Grilled chicken sandwich with homemade ranch dressing and a side salad!

I had meat loaf, mashed potatoes and corn with iced tea and it was great.

We booked this place by looking at the pictures online and the views were stunning! However, their lodge is actually on the opposite side of the lake so no views from your room. We stayed here for one night and thought to book this as the cost wasn’t too much compared to rest of the lodges around but the bed isn’t comfortable for two people. I wouldn’t recommend this place for people who prefer good night sleep.
The food and the cafe is good though.

Drive to Seward you will get your food faster. Waited an hour to get food 2 burgers and 2 fish meals that had been sitting under a heat lamp based on how dry the items were. It took 2 hours for the first drink refill.
We watched multiple tables come in and walk out based on service and we should have done the same.

Food and drinks: It's terrible even if you like waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes for food.

No WIFI, No TV, No Coffemaker, No fridge,No microwave..just two beds which are sinking..The front door is jammed and can't open easily..Sadly google lowest possible rating is 1 star...You can't even find one breakfast option nearby..Avoid it all cost..
It would be better to eat across the street at the general store.
It would be better if you find another place to lodge.
Rooms: Small, combined with uncomfortable. As another guest said the next day, “They had hot water.“
