We grabbed lunch from here after seeing the positive ratings. I walked in and was immediately disappointed. This did not strike me as a restaurant, but rather as a bar. We happened on this place on our way from Wasilla to Fairbanks. What a gem! I only got a salad but my husband shared a few bites of his burger and fries with me. The burger was phenomenal and everything a burger should be, just a plain old American style burger. No fancy additions, just meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. Heard about this place via word of mouth and so glad we stopped on our way from Healy to Fairbanks! Food is good, service is excellent, and we were the only ones there because of the nearby fires that would close the Parks highway just a few hours later. Thinking back maybe we should have kept driving instead of stopping for lunch but I'm honestly so glad we did because this place is great!
