Update: I received a phone call from General Manager Becky Jean, who was very concerned about the quality of the product that I received. Are you kidding me? I really did not expect a phone call!! Becky was very concerned and was genuinely interested in solving the problem on their end. She made sure that I was well taken care of. Amazing customer service, and very much appreciated. Thank you, Becky! Superb customer service really makes all the difference.

Ordered 9 lbs Alaskan king crab. Delivered on time and well packaged. Cooked two days later and my gosh - not so great. Steamed until hot, about 10 mins, but the shells were mushy and soft, the meat waterlogged and soggy. I expected $500 worth of crab to be better than that. It is a darned good thing we had steaks with them otherwise our special meal would have been a bust! I wanted to try their snow crab next but now I'm afraid to spend the money.

DECEPTIVE - why are you selling shrimp that is from out of state, packaged to look as if it's local? Had some last eve -- just awful - rubbery, white in color tasteless - - it looks as if it's an Alaskan product. Quit ripping tourists off. (I am contacting the BBB FYI)

Expensive but very good. Can either freeze or smoke your fish. Can ship home if you want.

Pricey but necessary. Parking lot in Soldotna is jacked. Guys with boats trying to get in along with families in RVs. Needs to be reconfigured. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Highly recommend if you’re fishing and don’t want to spend your time processing. Fair pricing and great customer service! We had an awesome experience over the 5 days with Tanners. Betty Jean, Austin and Emily were super helpful, professional and went above and beyond to make sure we got our fish processed, packaged and ready to fly home.

I ordered 9 pounds of Large alaskan king crab Legs and they're no bigger than snow crab from kroger! im disgusyed afyer paying nearly $600.

Tanners is right there in Ninilchik. Nice folks. I would have given them a full 5 star, except unlike many other processors, they don't offer a resident or even Ninilchik local resident discount. Many others do.

Their handling of your catch is great. You get back what you dropped off.

This week we ordered a variety of fish from Tanner's for our friend's birthday. They live in Florida and so enjoy a great fish dinner! This is the second time we have sent them Tanner's awesome fish so they are super excited!! And the next day delivery service is amazing!
My husband found Tanner's on an Alaskan fishing trip 3 years ago. He wanted to supplement his catch with more of the local and regional offerings so he went to Tanner's and filled out the cooler box with a variety of salmon, halibut, and rock fish!!
The service at Tanner's is 5 Star, and Betty Jean and Jason are very professional and so great to deal with!
