“Lovely cosy restaurant with great staff! Had the best pizza ever right here! Absolutely perfect! Plus also some tempura seafood and vegetables…. Very nice indeed! Plenty of beer options and very nice and friendly hosts. Totally recommend this place if you’re in Nome!”
“I came in here when I was in Nome as an Iditarod volunteer. From the first moment I stepped in there, I loved the atmosphere of the old building and the 'vibe' of the place. Everything was so relaxed and welcoming. The service staff was very friendly and service was quick. Food was great too. I was in Nome for six days and I came in here often. It would be a great place to just go in and have a coffee and chat too.”

“This is the best subway in the United States hands down! If you want a subway sandwich that looks like the subway sandwiches in the commercials, then go to Nome, Alaska and get a sub. If you’re lucky Jason will make your sub and you’ll have no problem paying the $23 and leaving a 20% tip every time. The Mexicali is real good!”

“Came to Nome on a quick work trip ave was not disappointed. The Board of Trade Bar. A sprawling dive that wears its quirks like a badge of honor. It’s big enough to wander through but still manages to feel like the kind of place where everyone notices when you walk in. Rough edges, a little chaotic, and exactly the kind of atmosphere that makes it unforgettable.
Enter Warren—the salty dog behind the bar. He’s equal parts gruff sea captain and therapist with a bottle opener. Don’t expect him to coddle you, but he’ll pour a proper drink and maybe even crack a smile if you earn it (don’t hold your breath). He runs the place like a ship in rough seas; sarcastic, steady, and with no time for nonsense.
It’s the kind of establishment where the walls echo with decades of good, bad, and questionable decisions, and the patrons definitely have stories better than yours. All in all, exactly what a dive bar should be. Unapologetically rough around the edges, oddly comforting, and somehow more honest than any polished bar you’ve ever been in.
If you don’t get it, that’s on you.”

“Never thought I’d end up eating Japanese food in nome Alaska, but here I am! Serves cuisine from many different regions and food is pretty decent, price is okay for the area.”
