Very cool place. Hugh is the most chill guy I’ve met in a long time. Great drink selection, food was good and the people there are friendly. Worth the drive.

Stopped here for lunch half a dozen times during a summer photography trip a few years ago. Exceptionally welcoming despite being so remote.

Not sure when they open for summer season, but late June early afternoon on a Friday and no sign of it being any time soon.
Didn’t try the food on the last day they were for the season, but the history, camaraderie, and atmosphere made the $10 beers worth it. Soooo much mushing history here!

Really neat place to visit if you're in Nome. It's the last check point on the Iditarod race. I'm told that during the winter you can only reach this place by snowmobile. They serve drinks, hot dogs, rain deer dogs, burgers, and chips. They give you free peanuts and pilot bread with some peanut butter. Super unique spot. Beautiful views on the drive there. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area and I highly recommend to friends and family.
A really neat place. Loved the dollar bills everywhere.
This is a one-of-kind place for sure.
This bar is the last checkpoint on the Ididarod dogsled race route. It’s such a character-filled place! A can of beer (great Alaskan IPA!) is $9!! The walls and much of the ceiling are covered with $1 bills, and a stapler & marker are provided so you can put your name on a bill and add it to the collection.
Pool, darts, Foosball, golf, and good drinks if you looking for a place to clear your mind

Great food. Friendly people. Cozy fire in the wood stove next to a comfy couch. Played foozeball table and pool table. Lots of Iditarod memorabilia and 1 dollar bills are the wallpaper in this building, literally!
A must every time I visit Nome.
