It used to be a lot better. I think they've resigned themselves that they're closing so they don't care much anymore. The food was mediocre the service was nonexistent and the floor was dirty

As a Mississippi native adjusting to life here in Alaska, one of the things I’ve missed the most is the comforting taste and feel of a true Southern breakfast especially from places like Waffle House. There’s something about that down-home flavor and warm diner atmosphere that just sticks with you.
After being here for about a year and trying to find anything that came close, I finally stumbled across Little Richard’s Diner, and let me just say—it felt like coming home.
From the moment I walked in, I felt a familiar warmth, not just from the cozy setting, but from the genuinely kind staff. I ordered a custom version of a Texas bacon chicken melt with hash browns loaded with jalapeños and ham, a breakfast I used to love back home but hadn’t been able to find anywhere up here. The waitress didn’t hesitate for a second and made sure the kitchen crafted it exactly how I liked it. When that plate hit the table, I could already tell I was in for something special.
And let me tell you it wasn’t just good. It was better than I ever had back home. Every bite brought me back to those early Southern mornings, and for the first time since moving, I truly felt like myself again.
I honestly think they should add this to the regular menu, because from now on, I’ll be here every single day ordering that exact meal. Little Richard’s has earned a loyal regular in me.
10/10. Highly recommend. If you're ever longing for just even a little Southern comfort this is the spot.

Excellent food, though it may be hard to get a seat on a busy night because of the building's smaller size and limited space.

This is the best local foods, service and prices in Alaska. Tip: Don't eat the Raindeer sausage before visiting and feeding the Raindeer Adventure Park up the road.

Stopped for a quick dinner on a Sunday evening and had a perfect patty melt and onion rings. On the expensive side, but it was a large sandwich that met all my expectations, so it was worth it. Fast, friendly service and a clean bathroom too!
