I’m writing to share an ongoing issue my wife and I have experienced at your location. Every time we order food, we specifically request **“no beans”**—we’ve said it in English and Spanish—and it still gets made incorrectly.
This has happened numerous times. On several occasions, I’ve had to walk up to the cook myself, explain the order again, and wait while it was remade. That shouldn’t be necessary for such a simple request.
Most recently, instead of leaving out the beans, my order came with beans in the box, and the burrito had very little meat and was mostly filled with rice. It feels like our instructions are either not being read or not being followed.
This is frustrating because this is the closest taco spot to us. If we had other nearby options, this would not be our first choice or a place we would recommend to others. We just want our orders made correctly the first time, especially when the request is simple and clearly stated.
I’m hoping management can look into this issue and ensure that special instructions on orders are read and followed so customers don’t keep experiencing the same problem.

Overpriced to the moon.
Quality is bottom shelf... In a basement. Prices are higher than EVERYWHERE! I've never seen tacos for over $5. They're insane. What a terrible place for tacos!

Loved the food here. I am a vegetarian and they had all the choices from the menu. I had Veggie burrito combo and it had good portion size and tasted great. They also have nice looking decoration for the seating they provide. my son loved the colorful interiors along with the food. :)
I ordered the Chicken chimichanga and it had absolutely zero flavor or taste. It seemed like they used refried beans instead of chicken inside the burrito. It was just bland nothingness that I was eating. I hate to be critical of Mexican restaurants in Alaska because there are so few of them, but it is what it is.

just ate at the boniface location 5/2/2025 pretty bad service the cook and the cashier/manager on duty got my dad's order wrong he ordered a gordita then tried to argue with him about it and didn't give him his receipt, the condiments bar looked pretty bad

Authentic carneceria food. Hands down best lengua in Alaska. It's what you want when you're craving real Mexican food. I haven't had a single dish from this restaurant that wasn't fantastic. Beats everything in town. Hell, best most everything in Alaska. The salsa bar slaps, and the staff are friendly and will definitely cater to your wants and needs. It's a must-go-to.

Food poisoned at the Boniface Taco King March 10th, 2025. I think the open sauces haven't been changed in a while, or the shrimp was bad in my burrito. I threw up multiple times throughout the night into the next morning. Laid in bed all day March 11th I haven't eaten in 24hrs. It's now March 12th, and I'm still on fluids only. This is the first time this has happened to me at one of your locations. I've eaten at other Taco King's and your food is really good, but this past experience was horrible.

Always an awesome experience, great food, customer service and not a long wait time for food to come to you and it's hot. Not sure about the one in Fairbanks, since I haven't eaten there in a while. This one in North Pole is amazing though.
