My wife had the halibut and she was extremely disappointed. For the money they charged us ($38+taxes) the food portion was very small and the fish did not taste fresh. It was disappointing that the one place in Seward we tried because it was open did not have fresh seafood. This was our second visit since the day before they were out of everything except salads, so my wife had not eaten there. Would not recommend.

Halibut fish and chips were the best we’ve had in Alaska (Anchorage was a disappointment). Panko crumbs, crisp fries- and an amazing supplemental tartar like sauce with jalepenoes and cilantro. The views out the front window were beautiful. It’s a small diner- nothing fancy- very casual- could use some cosmetic spruce up of the building- But halibut fish and chips were excellent!!

I was really comfortable with the food and the portion I received when I stopped here. It does have a price but compared to other restaurants in town that I have been to these prices were really the average and some other restaurants served way less portion. I really think the atmosphere was just okay, I think for lunch here is an excellent stop.

The service is good and kind, the food was delicious but pricey for the setting. This is an unkempt place with dim lighting in the water fountain space and throughout the eating area. We ordered a seafood chowder which was delicious, the halibut fish and chips which were fresh and not fishy at all with 3 condiments on the side. If you put the food at a proper coastal diner setting, then they’re worth the price.

If you want to eat fast in and out this is the place to go . Seafood chowder was good you could taste peaces of seafood there not potatoes like other restaurants. Halibut was ok , seasoning was overpowering Fish taste. Do not expect any special service. You order at regiser and then they will bring your food. Utensils you have to get it yourself and no toilet paper was in washroom.
Food was solid, great location. Got the seafood chowder and it was phenomenal.
I do feel like there is better value for the price and quantity, the bowl is pretty small. But solid nonetheless.

The fish & chips and burgers we had were really good, everything was well baked & nice and hot. The view from the terrace is also great for watching the goings-on at the harbor.
