Expensive, but good. One of the last takeout options in early October as everything shuts down in September. We were grateful for the food but the cost was a bit high for what we got. But that’s also normal in rural AK, don’t forget and plan ahead! We didn’t eat inside due to an immunocompromised family member and they had our food ready to go quickly.

20 years ago I had a halibut sandwich at Apollo...changed my whole perspective on fish. Now I love seafood 2 decades later! Still has amazing fish and chips! My veggie people LOVED the veggie calzone!

Do not eat here.
The waitress takes forever for refill drinks and talk to you about your order, especially when we had to ask the hostess where she was because she was nowhere to be seen for 20 minutes after we got seated and ordered our drinks. The place wasn't even busy. Just us, a larger family, and 2 smaller couples. The other couples were looking around for her too and wondered where everyone went. It seemed pretty dead in there, including employees.
To make matters worse, despite the awful service the fine print specified that larger parties pay an automatic 18% tip, for each individual check.
They tried to be sneaky and charge us all 20% instead.
We promptly asked for it to be changed to 18%, and instead of doing that, the hostess who was also checking people out said she would just waive the tip instead and that we could pay our chosen tip amount, which we all agreed would be absolutely nothing.
When we got back to our hotel my husband and I were both sick and had minor food poisoning all night.
As I said before, please don't give this place your time or money.

Very unpleasant experience to get to a restaurant and feel unwelcome. Food is average. One time in Apollo Restaurant in Seward, was enough.

Breadsticks are hard as rocks. I ordered a pick up but no one ever came out. My husband went in to get it and they said they had no order on our last name. I had to back in with my first name. Took 10 minutes just to pick an order that I had already waited 50 minutes for. It’s cardboard pizza with some cheese to say the very best. Gross, over rated, too much for a frozen pizza that would have been better and extremely poor customer service. Don’t waste your time.
Great pizza as usual.. thank u Kosta Aaron Kyle

The pizza and calzones are delicious. Their gyro sandwich is also very good
Parking: Park a black or two away and walk. Parking is pretty easy to find once you leave 4th ave.

This was a last-minute well-I-guess-it'll-do choice for us. The food was edible, but nothing to write home about and far overpriced for the quality; the service was poor. We got sat pretty promptly, but it took a while for our server to get to us. I should note that our server was fine, but seemed to be trying to work the entire dining area solo. I'm not sure why she was working the restaurant alone, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt: she seemed to be trying her best in a bad situation. That doesn't excuse the rest of the staff though. Over a maybe 40 minute dinner, we never got a refill on very small cups of water... until the last 5 minutes, when no fewer than 3 people came around offering to top us off, one after the other. I think they were finally trying to help out the server, but it was slow and completely uncoordinated.
Unless it's your only choice for food, I'd say skip it.

What a wonderful evening. Kayla took great care of us! Food was service fast a hot. Beer was cold, and local. If in Seward, it's definitely worth the stop.

One of the top choices in Seward. With limited options available in Seward I would recommend everyone to try this place once.
We were there for two days and we went there twice as it's difficult to get good and tasty vegetarian options.
Pizza from Apollo was just great.. Very tasty and yummy.

A truly tasty and enjoyable meal. Very large portions so consider sharing. Don’t miss the marinara. Get there before 7pm to avoid the dinner crowd. Kudos to the cooks!! Job well done!
Vegetarian options: Salads, pastas, pizzas and calzones made with no meat rather than simply leaving off the meat. Again, the marinara…?

Ran out of salmon and still tried to bring us out my pizza even though half of our meal at the same the salmon was just beginning to cook the salmon. One more reason is the food took almost an hour to get to us. They should have at least have a General idea of how much of certain amounts of food. Personally I suggest turning around at the frount door. I suggest going to the restaurant called high liner’s next door
