We love coming to the Flamingo when in town. Their burgers and food are great, ambience is moody and unique, and unique, fun cocktails. Our service this evening wasn't top notch, our food was delivered before drinks and fries came out later in the meal, our check was delivered while we were still eating, and had to flag our server down for refills. Seemed a little short staffed.

I absolutely love this place. Hands down the best cocktails you can get in Alaska. The food has a nice variety, so you can just stop in and sit at the bar and have a cocktail and cup of chowder or you can make reservations in advance for a more fine dining experience. I typically sit at the bar, and the bartenders are the best. But when family is in town it's the perfect spot for dinner with a fun old school atmosphere and something for everyone. I highly recommend the chowder, fried pickles, bucket of butt, po boy sandwich or any of the steaks if you want to splurge a bit. My favorite cocktails are the lazy sunday, field of dreams the eris, and the heated hare margarita.

Between the ambiance, the stellar service, and the top notch food, this place is our favorite stop in Seward. Impeccable flavor combinations and attention to detail. From the cocktails to the mains and everything in between you will not be disappointed. We could not believe how good the chorizo steamer clams are. High recommend.

Food was good but service WASN'T! Couldn’t get a refill on drinks. The table that sat next to us waited 25 mins and couldn’t even get a drink order in. They got up and left. We left shortly after and ended up not tipping as well as we normally do at a nice restaurant. You would have thought when the family next to use got up to leave one of the 4 workers would have stopped them and helped right away so they wouldn’t loose service but that didn’t happen. My family won’t be back either.

Over rated and over-hyped.Always a long wait for food regardless of how busy/dead they are.Very dark lighting, hard to see the food if you sit on the booth sides.Chairs are very tight and uncomfortable.Steaks are usually cooked wrong, either too rare or well done and charred. The prime rib they had was well done and charred which is disgusting and not how prime rib is cooked but the staff informed us its precooked and reheated and not cooked to temp so they don't even ask how you want it cooked. It's also really silly to have all the tables set with small plates for bread when you don't offer it. It's available for an overpriced option on the appetizer menu though. So if we don't get an app then the plates are just useless and in the way. The prices are so high they can easily afford to offer bread but choose not to.

This has to be one of the WORST restaurant experience weve had.First, the door was locked when the sign says open (not sure whose fault is it)When the waitress opened, she didnt seat us nor gave any menus. When we asked for a menu the waitress from the bar says theres only 2 servers in the restaurant as if telling us to not hurry up. Weve been there for 10mins at this point. Waitress behind the bar even said we are disrespectful for getting her attention. How absurd???We left the restaurant because of the crudity of the waitress.

We had an awesome experience at the Flamingo Lounge. It wasn't on our radar initially, as I instantly thought "cheesy Vegas bar", but another upscale restaurant sent us here when they couldn't seat us without a reservation. We barely got seats here, so would recommend trying to get one, and we were surprised when we walked in- unique and well done decor and ambiance. As far as the food, we ordered the pound of tanner crab, which was the best crab I had in our entire 12 day stay in Alaska. It was extremely fresh and a pound was a good amount for me and the wife. We also ordered the halibut, which was also tasty. Overall, great experience and would absolutely come back next time we're here. Cheers!

Service was good food was good. It was pricey but you expect that in a tourist town. There were some really good specialty drinks!

It was rainy while we were in Seward, so we decided to come in from camping and enjoy a meal we didn't make and it was one of the best choices we made in Alaska.I was not starving so I just got the fried pickles, but we also got the bread board and that was more than enough food. Both were great with me trying to make sure I didn't eat all the bread and butter. My partner had the half a crab and loved it.We had a few cocktails, all of which we nice. We finished with the baked Alaska which was great. Service was slow at the start but turned around quickly.

This is the best place for dinner and drinks in Seward, hands down! I’m so happy I spent my birthday there! The drinks were amazing! The crab, burger, and Caesar salad were excellent!

Classic looking joint. Unique setting and upholstery. We didn't eat much so can't speak to that, but bar / drink wise it was great. Lot of options and good selection of cocktails.

Very nice hole-in-the-wall place! Definitely designed like a fancy older lounge. I loved the decoration and how it was set up. My bf and I went on a late Thursday evening and it wasn't busy at all. The service was decent. He got the French dip, he said it was really good! Good size too. He also got the Prosecco white wine as well and he says it also was pretty good haha. I got the Caesar salad with an add on of chicken. The salad was DELICIOUS..BUT...it literally looked like they grabbed a head of lettuce, chopped off the bottom and layed all the large lettuce leaves on a small plate and dumped Caesar on top, and a giant hunk of uncut chicken. It was just annoying a bit messy to cut myself (sucked because I was starving lol, I know...first world problems eh) but other than them not cutting my food like a normal restaurant service a salad...no complaints besides that one! :)
