We loved the Flamingo Lounge! We got the small bucket of “butt”, the soup of the day (which was chicken and dumpling, delicious!), and the fried pickles. The halibut chunks were perfectly sized and felt we got a good amount for the price. The tartar sauce that came with it was delightful, very dill forward which we loved. The fried pickles were probably the best I’ve ever had, they also came with a great jalapeño aioli dipper. And the soup was warm and delicious. We didn’t get any drinks but I wish we had! Everyone around us had drinks that looked really tasty. If we were local, this would definitely be a date night dinner spot for us.

I’ve been traveling to work in Seward every quarter for years, now and somehow just now found the coolest, most amazing place ever! Kinda embarrassing, but ecstatic at the same time. Had the halibut chowder followed by bucket of butt and ginger, honey glazed carrots that was so delicious! As Alaskans, we catch and prepare our own halibut so to be wowed at the restaurant is rare! Service was 6 star and I had to try the dessert, apple pie meets churros! Over the top! Amazing local brews as well.

We had a party of 10, got there late and they still sat in a comfortable area. The Bucket of Butt and Bourbon Ginger Glazed Halibut was delicious!!!! The Paniolo Old Fashioned was pretty good, too!!!

Good food. Good service. My only complaint is the tables were really close to each other. Like elbow close.

Excellent food and cocktails in Seward! The crab and reindeer meatballs were especially amazing. Atmosphere was a bit loud, but mainly because it was so crowded since everyone else was loving the food too!

I wanted to say thank you to the staff responsible for helping my daughter and her fiancee celebrate their engagement on Thurs, Sept 5. Their evening was perfect. The food and service were great and they even assisting me in being able to pick up the tab for them. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

Great food and drinks. Draft beer was perfect and halibut chunks were delicious. Recommended. We were lucky to get a table without reservations, if you are planning to go, consider book a table beforehand.

We went the first night after dinner for drinks at the bar and realized we had to come back for dinner so we made a reservation. Make a reservation if you are there anytime from June-Early Sept or expect a wait as is very normal in a tourist town during tourism season.
We had the pleasure of meeting both owners during our two times who were incredibly kind and caring. Our reservation was running barely 10 minutes over and the owner graciously bought a drink while we waited.
Then he recommended the “Butt Bucket” (halibut) which we got and was delicious as well as the crab legs. I love crab but don’t always love the work but these were steamed so well they came out very smoothly!
We tried chowder at 7 restaurants in Seward and the Flamingo was tied for first place!
The atmosphere is cozy and the creative bottles surrounding the place are fascinating. Check this place out but again remember if you’re a tourist in a small town a wait is normal if you don’t make a reservation!

We called in advance to celebrate our anniversary. We were on time for our 815pm table There were 3 tables open . One 2 top and 2 , 4 tops .. not sure why were weren't given the option to choose but we were sat by the host at the 2 top. TBH an average table for our celebration anniversary . Ordered drinks with Spencer who was very nice and drinks were great! . Ordered food that came out cold . Halibut cup of soup , The salmon , fries and carrots as we were starving !! So didn't want to send it ALL back . We ordered a feast but was cold .. such a shame ?My partner ordered the halibut and Brussels ..fyi he doesn't mind warm food so he was happy ?
Vibe is cool , service cool but kitchen is hit or miss . Tonight was a miss for me ..go to the Cookery restaurant over the road instead ...as food there was way more delicious but I'd still recommend the flamingo, at the bar for drinks especially if your only in Seward as a tourist for 2 nights . Such a shame as place is cool ?
