Good experience here tonight. We stopped about 3:45 and wasn't busy yet at all on a Friday night. Right around four, several other groups came in. We got soup with our meals. Food typical Chinese food, pretty good overall. They do Togo orders which is nice in this small town.
First of all, I greatly support mom and pop shops, due to my parents also having a business of their own. However, this was a huge disappointment.First, the food wasn't that good and it was overpriced. Second, the plates that the elderly woman gave us were dirty. When my sister asked if her plate can be replaced, the elderly woman told her not to use a plate, instead giving her a cup, not even a bowl. Third, my parents asked for bowls and she looked upset and never gave them. Lastly, I politely asked the elderly woman if she can provide us with a receipt that shows what we paid for, because it seemed too expensive. The woman showed it to me and angrily threw the receipt on the table, making unnecessary comments. Then, I asked her why she treats her customer like that, and asked if she wants her customers to return; she said she doesn't care and told us not to come back. Then I said, fine I won't come back, and she went off on me. We argued, but I realized who I was arguing with and I left. As I was in the parking lot, she opened the door and continued to cuss me out while other people were present. She finally decided to shut up and close the door once I drove off. We spent $81 and we were treated like this. There are better places to go to, don't waste your time or money here.
much better chinese than i expected, lots of fresh veggies in delicious sauce with heaping portions.
Lunch was good. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the staff was nice.
Went for lunch, the lady was very nice and the service was good, was looking forward to the food. Lunch was extremely salty, none in our party of six was able to eat our meals. Probably a one off but can't say it was good. Willing to give one more try.
If you love Chinese, go here!!! The Mongolian beef is AMAZING!!!!! The portions are HUGE! You won't be disappointed! The lady and her husband are so nice also! They're like little ninjas in the kitchen. The food was done so fast and tasted oh so amazing!! It's forsure underrated!
Seward’s hidden gem. I go here around once a week, for the price, portions, and flavor, you cannot get any better than this! Their beef and chicken is incredible, and everything comes with soup and an egg roll! Ran by a woman and her husband, both of which are sweet as pie. This place is always empty, and I cannot believe it! Food is incredible, atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable. The fact that they’re open daily for lunch and dinner is also ideal in Seward!
Owners were very friendly and helped customize vegetarian food for us. Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch.
Wife needed some comfort food after the fjord tour - decided to come here for some Chinese fare. Nice family run operation. Dish of the day was the Kung Pao Halibut - it's more like General Tso Halibut, no peanuts or hot pepper, but a really good sauce, sweet & sour, and the fish was nicely cooked. Daughter had one of the noodle soups, broth was just okay, but good noodles. Hot tea was nice to warm back up after viewing the glaciers! Menu has some Korean dishes also.
Maybe we got them on an off-day. The food was certainly not worthy of praise. Commenting generously, I’d give it an “OK”

Food was excellent, a generous portion and came out quick after ordering. The host/server has a dry sense humor that we found hilarious. Will definitely be back when we return to the area.
Large servings, good prices and nice spice. We found this restaurant after being unable to get in or 1-2 hours waits at the downtown restaurants and we were so surprised that more people hadn’t found this gem. If you want a break from fish and chips, come here.
My husband and I really enjoyed the Kung Pao halibut and the Mongolian beef here while visiting Seward. We got one of the combo meals and all the food was not only fast and delicious, but served in such generous portions that we had leftovers for several days. This place is obviously beloved by a lot of locals and it's easy to see why!
The “almond chicken” they serve is basically a chicken fried steak with some gross gravy on it, topped off with almonds. I don’t come to Seward very often and decided to try out a new place. I’ll definitely pass for sure on the next time visiting.
The portions were huge and really pretty darned good. May not be the BEST Chinese food I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. The family running the place are great...the little old lady running the front of the house has a great sense of humor if you look for it. Would definitely go back!
