For Seward, Alaska, 4 stars for quantity and quality for the tofu burrito. This burrito, like all food in Alaska, was expensive, but the portion size was great! It was 1 of 3 ish items on the menu vegan or easily made vegan (the other was a falafel burrito or quesadilla). I personally was very happy to eat tofu, rice, and beans all in the same burrito for some complete, hot & filling plant protein 🤌 If this place was in New York City or something I wouldn’t add it to the happy cow app.. however in context this food is a true godsend in Seward Alaska! 😍

The best Mexican burritos I have ever tried. My family and I tried the halibut burritos along with some tacos. They were all bursting with different unique flavors. Great staff too

I can say without a doubt this was the worst So-called Mexican food I’ve every tried to eat. There were 4 of us and no one wanted to eat the food. I once had a fried to mummification whole fish in Honduras that was better. I ordered chicken nachos. Movie theater nachos are 10 times better. Unsalted stale chips with cheesy gravy and some tasteless chicken bits. I saw one tiny chunk of onion & no tomatoes, but I didn’t dig too deep because it was so yucky. Most of it went into the trash. Don’t waste your time or money.

Ordered reindeer and rockfish tacos, nachos and a quesadilla. Noticed several customers ordered after us and got there food, brought it to their attention. It seems they forgot to make them but made the nachos, soo long story short we cold nachos, guess they didn't feel like making those again fresh with the rest of the order.
They also serve enough salsa to eat like 7 of your thirty chips.
Probably won't be back. Food was pretty good at least the fresh stuff

This was a great find near the harbor. We had a halibut burrito which was amazing. My daughter thought the kids bean and cheese burrito was too spicy but my husband and I enjoyed her leftovers. They have great salsa and a couple tap beers. There are 2 other restaurants attached so your whole party could pick and choose if they liked.

Reindeer burrito was good, but nachos were horrible! Everyone’s side of nachos were stale to the point of breaking your teeth. I ordered halibut nachos and had about 2-3 tablespoons of meat and about 4 chips weren’t stale and I was able to eat them.

What I had was better than I expected for a Mexican food place in Alaska. It's perhaps not worth a full 5 stars, but for Seward I think it is. I had a chicken burrito and it was quite good, especially with their pineapple habanero salsa, which was recommended by the server. I want the recipe for that salsa!

(Went at the beginning of June 2025.)

Had the black and blue chicken quaesadillas with the aloha salsa. It was bursting with flavour. Chicken was well seasoned and flavour was just unique. LOTS OF CHOICES on menu. Just a cozy Mexican restaurant good food, good staff and good atmosphere.

First of all, I found a hair in my food when it was brought to me. When they took it back to fix it they brought the same food out 30 seconds later and tried to serve me the same food that had the hair in it. Second, the cook did NOT wear a hair net. Third, pretty much everything comes with beans and corn in it even though it doesn't say it on the menu. Fourth, our food was brought out so far apart. Like one person in the party would get their food then 20 minutes went by before they brought out another plate. The only thing I found appetizing was the can of sprite I had. Fifth, the server did not know the menu and barely understood English. We had to point at the menu and he still didnt get it.
Honestly, I can say I lost my appetite when the food was brought out to me. And the price was extremely too much for what we recieved. Other reviews use the word dissapointed but all I can use to describe my experience is disgusted.

This was a horrible stop on our vacation. The host didn't know the menu and we had to point at the menu to order. The cook didn't wear a hair net and my daughter found the cooks hair in her food. We sent it back to be remade. They pulled out the hair and tried to serve the same food to her 30 seconds later. Nice empty atmosphere. Should have known.
