Vegan milk options, good coffee and tea, fun vibe.
Pastries are excellent, especially for a small kitchen.
Interior is a homey former church.
Don’t sleep on the upstairs lounge with couches.

Resurrect is an old school coffeehouse that also features local artists. In the era of generic Starbucks and copycats, this place stands out as uniquely Seward. We tucked in here, escaping the drizzle and found ourselves in a warm, inviting tall space. The counter staffmembers were friendly and helpful. The drink production is kinda slow and the coffee is pretty darkly roasted so it isn’t a modern coffee experience. We ended up buying some local cards made with pressed flowers, too. It’s really a great little spot.

Super cute spot with a cozy atmosphere. I personally like strong coffee so had to go back to get an extra shot in my latte but the taste of the coffee was ??

Very cute store with lots of artworks. Went in 10ish in the morning for a coffee, and the barista said it will take 10 minutes or so, but turned out to be more than half an hour for an average coffee. If you have the time and are enjoying a pastry while you wait, it might not be that bad, but not everyone has the time to wait around all day. If they have told us the coffee will take 30 minutes then I would have gotten something else or come back another time. They probably produce an espresso drink every 5 minutes, and the barista kept making espresso shots from the espresso machine without putting out any new beverages, which was puzzling. With the long line and slow order, it added up to be more than 40 minutes for one coffee. Be sure you have that much time before getting an espresso drink from them.

An amazing local hub. Super cute and I quirky, kind folks, great art and shop, great coffee and pastries. Service can be slow, but remember that this is often normal in small towns and small businesses. They’re well worth the visit and the potential wait. I stop every time I got to Seward.
Dietary restrictions: Often has GF or vegan foods, and has plant-based milks.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp is helpful. It’s tight inside the shop though and my mom had some trouble navigating around the tables and lines.

Delicious coffee!! I had half Almond Joy / half White Mocha as recommended by the barista and it was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had! We came back the next day for more!

This is such a unique and adorable coffee shop. The coffee and pastries are awesome. I had probably too many cinnamon buns considering we were in Seward for less than 24 hours—no regrets. Definitely check it out!

The latte was fine. But be prepared for a long wait for espresso drinks coming in during busy hours in the morning if you have a cruise to catch. We were told 10mins but ended up waiting 30mins for a cup of latte.

This coffeehouse was one of the coolest I’ve ever been to. Husband got a latte (that he thoroughly enjoyed) while I shopped and got what is now my favorite necklace from a local artist. Love the atmosphere here and we can’t wait to come back when we visit next.

Service and coffee was great as well as the pastries. A lot of cool art to look at and purchase if you're so inclined.

We visited in the morning for a pastry and coffee. We got an apple pastry, which was delicious and not super sweet (which is my preference). The coffee house is an old church and has local art and gifts for purchase. There is fairly limited seating, so make sure you confirm there’s space before ordering. We found ourselves wandering with mugs full of coffee as we didn’t think to ask for it to go.
