100% worth every single penny anyone who comes in and visits we take them there! Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had best fried chicken I’ve ever had best steak I’ve ever had! The oysters are so fresh you can taste the love put into these meals!!! Forever my favorite place to eat.

Delighted with the Jinhi Bay oysters, special Halibut fish sandwich special and rock shrimp and grits - all delicious, fresh and tasty. Service and attitude of the staff makes for a kind, attentive and relaxed vibe to accompany the excellent food. Definitely worth the splurge.

Very disappointing experience with the hostess. The woman at the entrance was extremely unfriendly. When we asked about the wait time, she just said “45 minutes” in a rude way. We then asked about making a reservation, and her attitude was just as disrespectful and unprofessional. Because of how poorly we were treated, we have no interest in ever coming back to this restaurant.

When we inquired about making a reservation, she was again impolite and dismissive. We were so upset that we decided not to try this restaurant at all. Never again.

Great restaurant. The ribeye steak was absolutely delicious, I think it was the best ive ever had. The oysters, brussel sprouts, and even the mocktail we had were all great as well. It's worth putting your name on the list, walking around a bit, and waiting to get in here.

All dishes were as surprising as delicious from start to finish! We had 3 kind of oysters, salmon and halibut. Although we were hesitant and skeptical about the dessert options, the cream cheese ice cream was an absolute banger. The 45mn wait was worth it!
This place is the top restaurant in Alaska! The menu is so balanced, tasty and not heavy for your stomach. You can see that the chef spend time to build the menu, spend time on every dish presentation. It has interesting positions, and my top is fish (both types), oysters and the deserts. This is the first place, where I got back twice during the trip. I think they are always fully occupied and there is no option to reserve a table in advance. I would highly recommend to come 10-15 minutes before they are opening and you will have a high chance to get a table without a wait

Food was excellent and service was way above average. Jordan, our server, impressed me and should be commended. Everything we tried (>10 different items) was great and nothing felt overpriced. It was about a 40 minute wait to get a table, but it was completely worth it for the experience. Arriving at opening time would help get a table faster. Flavors, textures, and compositions were all great. I'm told the owner is associated with the local culinary school and it is evident in the quality of food we received. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Seward.
