Not only was this the only place open at the time, it was super delicious. They had brunch and it was well worth it. The server was excellent and very quick. Definitely would go there again.

Service was quick and caring for such a large group (18); played Bob Ross at the bar, which was fun; and a rather ameiable atmostphere. That being said, my NY strip was burnt so much I could only taste Charcoal...an the rest of the plate was unimppresive. The helpful staff offered to take a percentage off and explained that two new people were being trained in the kitchens. Still so dissapointed in that small burnt stake I probably wont eat another NY for awhile.Give them the benefit of the doubt, I could have been a one-off issue. But also be inquisitive about the preparation.

Fast friendly service. Went during the off-season. Ribeye was cooked perfect and the fries are delicious and likely homemade. Only draw was the price.

? Gotta say…. Through their most tumultuous moments, I admire their patience, as at times they have been short staffed. I’m sure that they can appreciate our patience, as well. Love these guys.?❤️❤️❤️

Amazing customer service! Food was exceptional, had the beer battered halibut fish and chips, and sweet potato kale salad. Best of what Alaska restaurants has to offer!

We had a party of 6 and arrived during the off-season. The restaurant was empty, but that's to be expected. Some of the food was pretty good. The boudin balls were yummy, the chicken Alfredo was good, and the pizza was pretty good. Unfortunately, the fried fish tacos were flavorless, and the breading was soggy and falling off. The server was nice and did well, but with a mostly empty dining room, the rest of the staff were pretty loud in the back. Downgraded from 4 to 3 stars for the tourist price for locals in the off season.

One huge issue is they never follow their own closing times. They just randomly close early or choose to only do take out with no warning or update to website/google. They literally leave open signs on and then tell you they decided to close early when you walk in. Has happened to us 3 times in the past month, so we probably won't bother going back anytime soon. No way to know if they feel like being open that day.Food: Average, queso was gross, everything was extra salty, fries came out cold. Steak was a bad cut but cooked properly and better than Flamingo ironically. Prime rib also cooked properlyService: Closing early at random and not following your own set hours is horrible service. Only saw our server twice, when she took our order and dropped off the food. No water refills, no check ins, and the hostess has to bring our bill cause we asked her for it after waiting 15 mins past our plates being empty/obviously finished. There were only 3 other tables when this happened so they weren't busyAtmosphere gets a 2 due to the Tvs playing Bob Ross. Would have been a 1 without the painting vids.

My husband and I just moved to Seward and the first restaurant we tried was The Highlander. We loved every single bite. We are going to have to try their to go services.

Food was good. Service great. It was open in November in Seward, that's a plus for it. Pricey but, it is the "off" season so we didn't have very many choices for a reasonable sit down meal. Parking was a bit confusing for an out of towner... We got there though. Ample portions. If the French dip hadn't had a chunk of fat in it that stopped me from eating half of it, five stars would of been given. Again, open in November in Seward! A big plus.
