I have worked on cruise ships for many years and every time we went to Skagway in Alaska I had to go down to eat at The Station Bar & Grill. A little neglected place, maybe the infrastructure needs to be modernized, but it is a place with very friendly staff (including waiters and bartenders), they serve quickly, the food is delicious and the alcoholic drinks are served at their temperature. Great spot for lunch. We got the chili, chowder and fish and chips. Everything was delicious. Service was good, chill atmosphere and good beer on tap. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.
