This is by far the worst customer service that we have ever received! We left from our vacation with Anglers Lodge (Great Alaska) lodge on August 3rd. We have yet not received our 2 large boxes of fish as of 9/8/25. They had no trouble taking our money to process the fish, but for some reason can’t seem to ship it. 6 weeks is entirely to long!!!! They never return our calls when we try to contact them. My suggestion is to never to use Custom Seafood for anything! Evidently customers do not matter to them!
My son and a group of men from Alabama and Georgia went to Alaska on a fishing trip, the final trip of the season. When they took their catch to custom seafood processors, they had one fish sent to each participants mother as a gift. I received my one fish plus about 50 pounds of salmon belonging to one of the men from the trip. I have made multiple calls to custom seafood processors with no answer even though I have left multiple messages and I have also used their contact us link with no response. I paid $470.79 to have the fish next day air shipped to the rightful owner in Georgia, as he is a friend of my son. A company with any integrity would make this right. It is not my mistake to correct, it is theirs. I will continue to call and attempt to reach out until I get a response. Stephanie Nail Aransas Pass, Texas

Custom Seafoods processed our fish so fast we didn’t have to get coolers to take it back to the lodge! Their quality was top notch and their customer service is second to no one! The bison meat sticks and their unique assortment of amazing souvenirs topped off the entire experience!
Found a wonderful cookbook here for salmon recipes! They have good pricing for packaging your seafood catch which we plan to use next time we are in the area!
We utilized Custom Seafoods for flash freezing our filleted and vacuum sealed fish. Pricing wasn’t bad for what we had done. They said it was a 24 hour turn around for freezing, but on the last day, they did in in 4 hours. The last star was removed as they decided it was a good idea to start closing on Sundays in the middle of fishing season. We brought all our fish we caught Sunday afternoon to them, turns out they weren’t open on Sunday’s starting the first weekend of Aug. The other processing places in Soldotna were open though.

Many of the filets I bought from them were obviously old and poorly handled. They taste bad.
They were easy to work with and very flexible with us as we added some more fish to our order last minute. Great front office staff and receiving crew. Thanks for your help!!

Very friendly, helpful and professional staff, well organized and clean facility. High quality freezer bags. Had around 150 pounds of Reds vac sealed and frozen and zero bags failed which is way above and beyond expectations, would have been fair to expect a few bags to have failed seals.
Definitely my go to place going forward.
The other “popular” outfit down by the “Y”processed around 50 pounds for me and found at least 6 failed bags when transferring into freezer at home. Fully expect more failures as I consume.
Customs for quality processing and employees who make you feel appreciated, even when overrun by fish from this years EPIC Sockeye run.
They did a great job with the seal and freeze and held the fish for over a week while we had other ventures. A pleasure to work with and very friendly and accommodating.
For the 3rd time in the last 6 years, they’ve tried to give us fish that WASNT ours!
Orders are tagged when they go in. This year, the associate brought us an order and literally tried to pass it off as ours. smh

Great place and service but way overpriced. Buy some ziplock at Fred Meyer and submerge your fish in the bag into water to seal. A box to ship and the freeze packs are available to buy at Fred Meyer
