Echo Lake's Superior Meats

Yum! Following the recommendation from a local Soldotna resident, we stopped by Echo Lake Meats to pick up some gifts for friends and a few snacks for ourselves on our visit to the area. The elk & beef sticks are tasty and the employees are super friendly and helpful.

The people are super nice and the store sells high quality meats. I love the bacon wrapped dates!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Eric and staff are all very friendly and helpful and their service is only outdone by the quality of the products they sell. When we bring home meat from echo it is a treat the whole family enjoys. Thanks guys!

Teriyaki sticks are horrible, especially for $28, wanted some quality meat since the other options around here aren’t great, but they are by far the worst, worse then Walmart by comparison, steaks are more fat then meat, and the flavor of there meat sticks are worse then any main brand you can get, don’t waste your money, anything you buy from here is going in the trash I can promise you.

A few years ago before new owners took over, the meat here was fantastic, now that the new owners have come along they claim to keep the same recipes but that’s far from the truth. They use more fat and all the meats are disgusting, I gave them a chance today thinking over some time they fixed their ways but no, it was absolutely horrible and fatty and way over priced. I paid $45 for two packages of meat sticks that I won’t eat because it is disgusting. The quality goes down as the price goes up. Absolutely ridiculous.

Excellent Smoked Salmon Dip! I often bring to parties and get togethers, always a favorite. The Beef Pepper Sticks and Hot Rod Beef Sticks are awesome! Very friendly staff with excellent customer service.

Teriyaki sticks awful!! All fat We don’t know what flavor they were and stay away from the Maple Bacon as well. Just no flavor neither bacon or Maple flavoring was noted by either of us. Had no half pound packages and we wasted $31. Sorry folks but you should do better.

Love love the meats from here! Great selection and always helpful in custom orders. And you can’t go wrong with the jalapeño cheese spread, the best around!

Amazing selections, great prices, excellent service. They add more to their available selections constantly. The Ground beef is great, the selection and quality of steak is astounding. They have farm fresh eggs as well. The Rotisserie Chicken is delicious!! They also have free range chickens for sale which are great. They also carry locally made jams and jellies. A great assortment of sauces, and snacks. FO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT SOME CHEESE DIP!!! I cannot recommend this establishment enough. If you have fish and/or game that is in need of processing they can take care of you as well. You will not be disappointed in visiting here.
