60$ for 2 for breakfast..never in my life have spent over 30$ for a breakfast meal...not entirely their fault with economics these days , but daum! Was not impressed with my food, 2 eggs, hasbrowns, sausage biscuitandgravy....,western omelet was good (my friend had that)

I used to frequent this place for breakfast when in Soldotna. Service was good and food was decent. But now I have no idea what time they open.

Ate breakfast there this morning. I asked for the hash browns to be cooked with very little oil. The cook did a great job on the hash browns as well as the ham omelet. It was nice and hot off the grill. The menus said they will sell breakfast any time of day. Service was cheerful and very good. And the dining room was very clean. They also had a wide variety of menus options throughout the day. I will visit here more often.

Customer service was on point and Very friendly. The food was served quickly and was cooked exactly as I ordered it. I highly recommend this place even if u want breakfast instead of lunch. The only bummer is they close at 3PM. Soldotna needs another "Sal's" or 24 hr restaurant that serves breakfast all day. I think this place would be perfect for that...hint hint.??

Service was poor. No one checked on our table after we ordered. The food was also disappointing. We we're visiting Alaska and had expected the fish and chips to be locally sourced like several other diners we have enjoyed in the Kenia Peninsula. This is not that kind of place. It was more like grocery store frozen fish sticks! Same with the tartar sauce and coleslaw! If you are a tourist looking for Alaskan fish, this is not the place. ~ Jennifer B.

Clean restaurant with a good atmosphere but the prices are out of control for mediocre food. A half-sized order of biscuits and gravy and a mug of black coffee was about $17 after tipping.

Stopped by on our way to Homer for breakfast. Was surprised it wasn’t really a sit down place. You order at the counter as would any fast food place. I ordered the breakfast sandwich on sourdough with ham, jalapeños cheese and opted for chipotle sauce rather than their special sauce. For a half a sandwich it was huge and very good. Definitely recommend and will stop again!

Whenever I went out to breakfast here in town this was, heavy on the was, my go to place. However the last time I was there the price was so outrageous that I will not be back even if someone else is paying. I had sausage and eggs with hash browns and toast with a cup of hot tea. $27.54 before tip. That is over $30 to get out the door for a single breakfast. I know the last few years have been tough on everyone in general and the food service industry got hurt more than most but $5.99 for a cup of tea, no refills, is ridiculous. All that said the food too was not as good as it was even a year ago. What I paid $27.54 for I could make for around $6 at home (which is what I will do next time I want sausage and eggs) only I will use real potatoes not the dried/reconstituted ones they use in cheap (quality not price) diners.

Super friendly staff. Food is very clearly bottom shelf Walmart cans and frozen, heated up and up charged 20+ dollars. Skip and head down the road to any other spot in town if you have a chance or just go ahead and buy the cheapest ingredients across the street and do it yourself.

Upon walking into ido, I was greeted with a pretty average looking diner. Nothing too special or surprising. Brown carpet flooring, booths decent lighting. I ordered breakfast food and then decided to excuse myself briefly to deliver the posterior pinecones.I walked through the excretion entryway and anticipated a similarly average ambiance. Instead I was greeted by modern laminate flooring, pristine stainless steel, flowers, and a smooth soap dispenser. The mirror was flawless, with no hair, fluff, or dirt to be seen. I felt as if I was transported into a new world; A modern day Narnia.Upon completion of my doo-doo duty, I felt like a new man. Ready to take on whatever the world may throw at me.The eggs were alright.
