So, I had started in on this because I was hungry.That is a pound of king crab. Ask before you buy.. it ranges this was $115/lbs.I got the shrimp for an extra $10... because where I'm from you can get a pound of shrimp for $6.99.! Well, I got 4 shrimp .. they were not even what I would consider Large, these shrimp were medium at best.! Everything was cooked very well, and the Crab was very fresh tasting.! The salmon dip was really good and flavorful..! The dinning area was really nice, kinda out dated.. but that is also it appeal.Over all my only grip, is the price of the seafood, seems ridiculous. Being from Florida, I love sea food and it's so much cheaper there in Florida, verses a land locked state.. even in Maine, it's a great fair price.Not so much here pretty disappointing.The services was very good.! The host at the entrance was very personable.!

The wife and I decided to try Mykel's for our 9th anniversary dinner tonight. We were blown away with the food, the service, and loved having the music. We shared the muscles appetizer, while the wife got fish and chips, and I, the smoked ribeye. The appetizer in itself was hard to not finish!!! It was so good, not overcooked, perfectly seasoned, and we had to stop ourselves to save room for dinner.Now our server Ross did an amazing job juggling a table of 12+ people, and our table. He was attentive, and always brought us anything we needed.The main course's were amazing as well. The fish and chips was crispy, and full of flavor, the tartar sauce was zesty and the fish was perfect. The ribeye was perfectly cooked to medium rare, and the onions were perfectly caramelized.We will be coming back again for sure. Thank you to our server Ross, and to the cooks who prepared our delicious food, even to the other servers who helped pick up plates.

Please do not let the fact that it is attached to a hotel dissuade you. The place is nice. The prime rib, vegetables and potatoes were excellent. The tempura shrimp was excellent. The carrot cake was delicious.

Best restaurant dinner I've had since moving here 9 years ago! Never had the chance to eat here till now and it was excellent food! Took a bit to get to the table but it made up for it in taste. I had the Basil fettuccine with chicken and my husband had the prime rib. We will be back! Lots more to try on the menu!

If you're looking for a higher-end experience in Soldotna this is a good choice. Located right near the Kenai spur they offer an upscale dining experience. I had the halibut fish and chips which were excellent and my wife had the muscles. Service was on point.
Fish gave me food poisoning.
