Never have had a bad experience. Only complaint is that I wish they could be open more. Worth the stop if they are open.

I’ve always loved the amazing breakfasts at the Bluebird Café, but today was my first time trying lunch—and it was outstanding! We had the special cheeseburger and the fried chicken sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere makes it such a great spot to enjoy a meal. Whether for breakfast or lunch, Bluebird Café never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Sorry it has taken so long, but my husband and I were in Alaska back in July 2023. After a long day of hiking and getting rained on, we stopped in the Bluebird for dinner - what a surprise!! One of got a bowl of the carrot soup and it was outstanding!! So then we all had to get a bowl. I have tried to find a recipe that resembles your soup but have been unable to find it. And the service was awesome - friendly, helpful, kind. Our wet day ended on a wonderful note that has made a forever memory! Maybe one day I'll make it back to Alaska and I will definitely come back to Bluebird.

Incredible food (get the sourdough pancakes, you won’t regret!) Place was hopping and buzzing with good energy, if you don’t get there right at 9 you might have a bit of a wait- today it was 40 minutes- but if you’ve got the time, it’ll be well worth it.
We stopped by the Bluebird Cafe on our way home from Homer. We enjoyed our food immensely. We had the stuffed French toast and the deep fried cheese curds. The only problem was it took almost an hour for the food to come out. The kitchen looked very understaffed. The server was very apologetic and attentive, we would definitely go again, just not when we have a time crunch.

We waited over an hour and a half and asked about our food because others were getting their food when they came in after us. We asked the waitress and she said they hadn’t even started our food and we were last. Instead of moving our food up. That means someone messed up and didn’t put our ticket in. But they didn’t even consider moving our ticket up. I will never return. Sadly this good is good but that is just so disrespectful.

We are special Sunday surprise. We are headed back from homer and on an impulse, stopped her for a late breakfast. Wife had biscuits and gravy, I had the French toast. Both were the best restaurant dishes we have had in a very long time. Service was amazing as well. Id give them 6 stars if it let me.

Nice place, great breakfast. Fast service. Although sitting at the counter for an hour, good service but they never even said hi, or how you doing, no offer of their bread pudding or something sweet. Just brought ticket. I love such cafés and the interaction of the people. Ill be back I'm sure but... Why not offer extras?

Needed a quick stop for food on our way back home from Homer. This place was quick and delicious. The bacon jam burger was outstanding, hand formed patty. My kiddos ate all their buttermilk pancakes and the egg and sausage. The stuffed french toast was more like dessert than breakfast but still amazing. They grind whole kaladi brothers beans for their house coffee. Place was clean and staff was super friendly. Clean bathrooms too!

The food here is amazing. Homemade everything and amazing flavor. Better than any diner I've had in Houston area where we are from. I can't recommend enough! The lady manning the front did a great job taking care of a 100% full restaurant on her own, welcoming everyone, serving the food/drinks, and making sure everyone left full and happy. Would definitely go back.
