TLDR/ Got overcharged and service has gone downhill.
Use to not mind this place but they seemed to of gone down hill over the last few years. There’s an older gentlemen who’s been working the register/cooking for a few years now and he’s a just slow, he was actually the reason we stopped coming for a couple of years since we only stop by when were on the road, trying to get going on with our day but the service was just so slow. He didn’t even know the prices of basic fries despite working there for so long.
Also, after looking back on the receipt, the guy charged me for a large fry when I ordered a small. He said the small was $6 something (Can’t quite remember, but let’s just even round up to $7!) and the large was $8 something. Somehow we were charged $9.50!!! (Tax not included.) That’s more expensive than the local restaurants in town!! I SPECIFICALLY & KINDLY told the guy I wanted a small, (despite other members of my party getting annoyed at him because of service, I myself made sure to be extra polite.)
So I’m not sure if the guy overcharged us because he was getting ticked off or since he’s older he’s hard of hearing, or if he just got the prices completely wrong (despite looking at the tablet screen while telling us the prices,) but they seem to need somebody just a little more competent at the register.

I definitely won’t be going back anymore due to this and wouldn’t recommend. The fries aren’t anything special but a typical fry taste. The corndog was actually alright for a gas station. But “The Catch” Restaurant only charges $7 for a whole plate, and the Soldotna Hospital charges $3/$4 for a small/large; so even 1/3 of the price. I just don’t remember this places prices being so high. I’d HIGHLY recommend double checking your order pricing $$$ BEFORE payment. Better off going out of my way into the Soldotna Mcdonald’s for my food (and cheaper) instead of stopping inside here for my trips to Anchorage. Super disappointing!

I stopped here for a phone charger. I left with a double scoop of moose tracks, a bottle of water, and an iPhone charger. It was well organized and I left within 5 minutes. I didn't need gas, but there was construction being done within the pumps so I didn't feel comfortable doing so. Over all great place and will be my stop on the way to Kenai from now on.

Was driving late at night and this places saved me! It’s inside a gas station but the menu was huge! Everyone was so nice and the food was concerningly fast however it was extremely good considering it was out of a gas station and the only thing open. Prices were very fair and I wouldn’t mind eating there again.

This is my favorite place for my oat milk lattes! Perfect every time. Really convenient to order dinner online. We love the burger platters. Can't beat the mushroom swiss or bacon cheeseburger. Sometimes we even get a milkshake to go along with them. The people who work there are always friendly.

My husband had the chicken quesadilla. It was huge and delicious. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. It was so good. I highly recommend this place very friendly atmosphere. Those gals in there are working their butts off. Little tiny restaurant, but very clean and then the store and gas station Great pitstop along the road if you’re hungry and need a fuel up.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The sausage breakfast sandwich was delicious, I also asked for them to make it on a biscuit instead of an English muffin but my boyfriend got the English muffin and loved his as well. The sausage gravy & biscuits were incredible. Everything was moist and very flavorful, 10/10. We put the extra gravy on our sandwiches and loved it.

Always friendly. A breakfast burrito combo of any kind is always a must.

Gas is usually cheaper here than a lot of places

My wife has 5 coffee shops closer to our property and yet she defaults to Cook’s Corner every time. Best coffee on the peninsula, hands down!

I’ve been going here to get gas and a soft serve ice cream since I was a little girl. Always a treat and I love that it’s Alaskan Owned and operated for 50 years! Gas comes from Alaska too and ice cream can’t be beat!

We go for the soft serve on occasion. It’s good but the older lady working the counter is always so grumpy and rude makes us not want to come. Asking for 4-5 ice cream cones and get a scowl basically to service us.

I eat or takeout often. Great food. Nice people & service. And the best ice cream, large portions of baked desserts. Like a one stop little shop. Fresh hot food, desserts, camping supplies, lots of convenience needed stuff, & gas station.
