We came late to Sterling, stopped by Magpye’s Pizzeria and enjoyed the variety of pizza’s. They had also a gluten free version, which was a great surprise. Service was good and the place was not too crowded.

4 jersey guys walk in to try AK pizza. The pizza was definitely good and the star of the show was Maggie the owner. She was amazing and even gave us a tip where to catch fish. I highly recommend coming here for the food and the great personality of this place. I'll see you guys next time I come up. Thank you again Maggie

This place was the perfect stop from Seward to Homer. It has a beautiful wildlife mural inside. The staff was friendly. But the highlight was the incredible food. The Naptowner pizza was among the best pizza we have ever had. Perfect amount of cheese and sauce, amazing crust with a garlic buttery flavor, and high quality toppings. The garlic bread was equally as delicious. Both paired well with what we have decided is the world’s best ranch dressing. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

Let’s start with the Food, we ordered 3 pizzas, a cooks captain, a cheese, a cheeseburger pizza. The slices were a little bit too big but it filled me up. The cheeseburger pizza was delicious tough it could have been better. Over all the food was great but could always be better. The service was okay, at first it was excellent but once it started getting busy it dropped to okay, but that’s to be expected when the place is as packed as a jungle gym full of little kids at recess. Overall the service was okay, but need improvement but I give them grace since there understaffed. And they apologized for the service afterwards. Now the atmosphere is amazing there’s a whole mural which is a work of art like a da Vinci painting and is completely unique to a pizza place. And the outside looks like a log cabin and reminds me of an Alaskan cabin which I love. I do wish that it wasn’t as packed but that’s okay since it’s not there fault.

Cute decorated restaurant, delicious thin crust pizza. We hadn't had anything green in several days so the salad was great! We were the only ones in the restaurant and they brought us a large salad, we ordered a small and asked twice to clarify our order.

I like Magpye's as a local restaurant and I'm glad they're here supporting the local Sterling community. They have pretty good food all around and a good selection of Beer. Plenty of room inside to accommodate good sized groups and smaller. It does get a bit busy but you can sit at the bar and enjoy a drink while you wait. Pizza's are consistently good, cheeses are nice, sauce is nice, plenty of toppings.
Personally, my only criticism is that I'm not a fan of lots of edge crust unless it's stuffed with something and would prefer less crust.
All in all, they're a great asset to Sterling and they make life a little better because they're here.

We were passing by and it was lunch time and I was in the mood for pizza. We saw restaurant and decided to stop. I’m sure glad we did the pizza was delicious and the crew there were so down to earth and pleasant. If you are driving down south you must stop. The restaurant had large windows with views. I loved it.
