I went for dinner, it was packed. Our waitress was extremely rude and my friends didn't want to ask her for anything because she was slamming our plates down, and acting rude and never checked on us. The environment was nothing but tourists. I got the mushroom Swiss and the mushrooms were raw. The booth seat was broken so I had to move. I am a local and the service, food, vibe, all of it was just, no thanks.

We were staying at the RV park next door and walked over for a late lunch early dinner. Everyone had recommended eating here and we can see why. Service was amazing. Food was amazing. Portions are huge. We ordered the fried mushrooms for an appetizer. This could've been a whole meal for two. There were at least 30 mushrooms. People were coming over to see what we were eating. We even shared a mushroom with someone who was on their way out. We had ordered shrimp baskets as our meal. The shrimp was excellence and the fries were very good. We ended up bringing most of the mushrooms back with us. In fact, we had some of the leftover mushrooms the next day with our dinner in camp. We can't wait to stop in on our way home and try something else and hopefully have room to try the Xango dessert!! UPDATE: We stopped in on our way back home and instead of pizza, we decided to get the salad bar. We did the one time salad bar and that was enough food for us. We were saving room for the Xango!!! The Xango was delicious and we are so glad we stopped in again.

We ordered breakfast. My husband's gravy on his biscuits & gravy was barely warm. He said he liked the biscuits. His eggs with diced ham were cold & didnt even looked cooked all the way. My breakfast was eggs with sausage & pancakes. The sausage was a little mushy on the inside. Eggs were hot & pancakes were amazing! The waitress never came back to check on us or refill our drinks. The guy cleaning off the tables & getting them set back up was picking his teeth with his fingers & not washing his hands before touching the tables again.

Stayed in the Young’s Motel behind the restaurant and ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast the next morning. The room was recently remodeled and one of the best I have stayed in from my travels from South Carolina. Had bacon,eggs, hash browns and an English muffin with my coffee. Service was excellent and I highly recommend both places.
