Stopped to grab some coffee on our way out of Tok and was surprised to see a breakfast menu too! I had the bacon & egg sandwich and it was delicious! Hot, fresh and with a healthy portion of bacon! My latte was very good too. I’ve learned not every coffee shop in the Last Frontier knows that caramel sauce (not syrup) makes a great latte; but this one was spot on. Thanks for making my 8 hr drive a little more bearable today! I’ll be back next time I’m in the neighborhood!
I have traveled to Thailand many times and love the food there. The best Panang curry I have ever eaten was in a hole-in-the-wall place in Bangkok, but the second best was found in Tok, Alaska! Mind blowing flavors that I thought I had to travel back to Bangkok to rediscover. Now I have to drive back to Tok to experience it again. What a gem out in the wilderness. Large portions meant I got to savor the curry multiple times. If in Tok, this is the place to go!
Holy HECK let me tell you I was willing to die for this pad thai. We came out of the back country surprised to find thai food and wanting to take it with us to our next camp. I am allergic to gluten and dairy and asked if they could accommodate. Request met with no concern (which is either really good, because they know what they're doing, or really bad, because they don't know/care).
