Awesome little place. Rhonda, the owner and brewmaster, is an authentic, friendly, and wholesome character who not only adds to the liveliness of Valdez but brews incredible beer. Will certainly be back.

Real brewery. Real people owners/operators. Their sticker is on the fridge door at the closest brewery to Globe Life Field (HOME OF THE WORLD CHAMPION TEXAS RANGERS) and AT&T Stadium (home of the long ago world champion Dallas Cowboys). THIS courtesy of me because GROWLER BAY BREWERY ROCKS! (The brewery in Arlington tx is Division Brewery)

Great people and great beer. Happy to hear it’s woman owned and operated too.The Spruce Tip ale is delightful. It’s like smelling the tree, not eating it!

Cozy little bar, friendly staff, great draft choices, and we loved the flight holders! Bonus points for the awesome mural in the restroom.

Our ship ported at Valdez on a Tuesday and the Growler was open. Great little place and the brewmaster served us herself. Friendly service and tasty beer and hard seltzers. Stop by.You'll be glad you did!

Awesome brewery! For having a limited selection, they have a great variety so you can find something for everyone. We were with a cruise and stopped in on a Tuesday and they were open so hours may not be accurate. Would definitely recommend checking them out!

Fantastic beers - I got a flight to try an assortment of 5 beers/seltzers, and I'd order a pint of all 5. The service was friendly, the place was homey and warm - all in all, a really great experience that isn't to be missed if you happen to be in Valdez on a Saturday! Also - if you abstain from alcohol or are a root beer fan, they have a fantastic root beer on draft as well!

Nice small brewery and we were lucky to be here on a Saturday, as this is the only day open. I would recommend getting the „Kranz“ to try 5 beers. Liked the Radler the most and got a souvenir T-Shirt ??

Best brewery in Valdez! The head brewer is incredibly passionate about what she does and is a joy to talk to about her beers. The offerings were all fun and tasted great!
This is the best beer in town, hands down! Service is great and everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. Rhonda makes the best beer in the state of Alaska, without a doubt. Her passion, enthusiasm, and skill is evident in every beer that she puts on tap. Would give ten stars if possible! Don’t miss this gem!

Would give them zero stars if possible. Was just there, waited 5+ minutes in line. They helped the people in front of me, skipped me and helped the people behind me and then talked to them for a few minutes, helped the next people behind them and never once even acknowledged my presence. All the while one dude was just washing glasses in front of me too. Rude AF so we just walked over to Valdez brewing where they have good service. To think we stayed a little later than planned just to try this brewery out since their hours are so limited ?

Great beer and the brewer that runs the place makes you feel welcome!

Well balanced beers! This feels like a home brewer turned micro brew kind of place but you can tell each beer was crafted with experience. All were very clear and had a perfect bitterness and flavor. My wife and I really liked the Sabro Spruce Tip Ale! Altbier was great as well as the IPA’s too. Keep on brewin!
