We stopped at Sam’s Spot for breakfast. The location is spacious, clean and very well organized. The menu has a variety of classic breakfast options. We ordered a few breakfast sandwiches with sausage patties- delicious! A huge plate of biscuits and gravy- delicious. Then eggs with hash browns and an omelette. Everything so good. Sam is a great chef and baker- we can’t wait to come back for strawberry cinnamon rolls on Valentine’s. 🍳🍓☕️
We came in with 15 people. the owner took very good care of us and the food was very awesome. highly recommend
Delicious breakfast spot! Everything was excellent and it was a great way to start a rainy Monday morning in Valdez!

Sam's Spot is a great breakfast place with GOOD COFFEE. The atmosphere is authentic and the owner is very welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, with huge portions and homecooked meals. Customers can enjoy a variety of options, including Quiche, breakfast burrito, chicken fried steak, sausage gravy and biscuits, and home fries. The service is excellent and the coffee is very good. Sam's Spot also offers self serve unlimited coffee and vegetarian options. It is a cozy place that opens at 5 AM, making it a great spot for early morning breakfast. Visitors to Valdez should not leave without having breakfast at Sam's Spot.
