This is the best food in this part of Alaska. The special of the day was sinigang —a delicious, authentic tamarind and pork belly soup that will warm your soul. Hubby had crispy chicken buns and they were so tasty. Order anything on the menu and be happy. The lady and her cute baby made us feel so welcome.

Oh. My. God. Don’t walk, run to Turo Turo!The atmosphere and the service were nothing short of amazing, but the food… ✨THE FOOD✨ It was absolutely phenomenal. I have traveled all over Alaska, and I’ve lived in Vegas, where we had some of the best cuisine in the world, and this place found a place at the very top of my list, and in my heart.The lumpia was the best I’ve ever had and the crispy chicken bao buns were pure magic.I frequent Valdez for work, and I can only hope they will stay open a little bit longer this season, so I can try some of their other dishes.
