Not a place to hang out. Not much to sit down and anything you say will be heard by others very easily. The donuts can be greasy depending on the kind but the service was quick and they were nice.
I think this place changed hands, kept the old name, but changed the recipes. Unfortunately, the donut recipes are just not as good as they were. If you preferred the previous Donut King donuts, go to Holey Moly Donuts instead, as it seems exactly like former Donut King in flavor. The dough at this location is too chewy now, and almost seemed stale. I ordered from the case and had to wait while they did something to create the order in the back, not sure why. I absolutely love Café Rico! The empanadas are absolutely incredible - they are truly to die for. And the donuts? Oh my goodness, they are so fresh and delicious. I can't resist them! But what really sets this place apart is the owners. They are super awesome, welcoming, and friendly. Their warmth and hospitality make the whole experience even better. If I could, I would definitely give Café Rico eight stars. It's a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates amazing...
