My husband and I took my dad here while he was visiting. Everett's is such a nice spot for a semi fancy dinner on the water. It's gorgeous during the sunset. The interior is super cozy and they have great decoration of antler chandeliers and Alaskan photos all around. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. For drinks, I ordered the polar bear and the winter warmer. The polar bear was sooooo good! It's a sweeter drink but perfect to go with a salad or...
We came in less than hour before closing for a quick dessert and coffee for my birthday. The spicy calamari and gouda fries were excellent, but my favorite was the creme brule... it was decadent and creamy without being too sweet or buttery. The staff were pleasant and let us hang out even as they were trying to close for the night. Excellent close to my birthday!
Hands down best service and food I've had in Alaska, food portions are good size and the quality of ingredients shows. Staff was excellent as well. Too many times we have eaten somewhere either in anchorage or the valley only to get plain tasting food with an expensive bill and regret going. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and recommend any to give it a try. Major plus on the lighting and music they have, very nice atmosphere.
