I ordered two drinks at Fruitland in Wasilla and spent $25. They gave my son the wrong drink, and even after he had started drinking it, they insisted on taking it back just to throw it away. This caused an unnecessary scene instead of simply letting him keep the drink. On top of that, they charged me a split drink fee for an extra cup they never provided. I don’t expect freebies, but when it’s their mistake, wasting a perfectly good drink and upsetting a child feels disrespectful. Honestly, supporting businesses with policies like this isn’t for me. I won’t be returning.

I had to stop coming because the smoothies were inconsistent in flavor and consistency, the store itself is showing its age after nothing has been updated or changed over the years. I have seen so many kids stick their fingers in the froyo toppings that are right next to where you stand to wait for your smoothie, and the employees just aren’t friendly and always seem bothered to be taking orders.

Just a slight edit based on the response of the business owner. Freedom of speech is when the government impedes your right to hang a Trump shirt. I choose not to patronize and support a business that has beliefs that I don't agree with. This isn't impeding your freedom of speech.

This has always been a favorite smoothie spot for me. I’m picky. I like to know what’s in my food, track it closely. My friends at Fruitland fresh give me exactly what I need to track and monitor my intake. My blueberry coconut protein smoothie is amazing today. As usual. Thanks ?

My daughter and I used to love going to this place for smoothies but we'll likely not return after our most recent experience. We both ordered regular honeydew smoothies with boba. After we left we both noticed that there was a brown mix at the bottom of the drink which tasted like caramel or coffee. We assumed this was just an accident that we got extra syrup and went about our day. A few hours later I was finishing my drink when I had the unexpected pleasure of crunching on a fly or some bug as I sucked it out of the straw. No wonder our drinks tasted funny. I called to let management know about this issue and was told that there was not a manager available and when I asked if a complaint could be relayed the reply was "probably not, whats the complaint?" The employee was apologetic once I told them what happened and asked what time we had been in. I was told the employee wasn't there at that time but that the manager had been the one to make our drinks. There was no additional steps taken by the employee to remedy the problem, and its unclear if the message will even make it to the management. We won't be going back to Fruit Land any more.

I have been a long time patron of Fruit Land. On 8/11/24 I asked about a new flavor that was available. The staff told me that it tastes just like chocolate and said it was good. I ordered said drink and it was GROSS. Not drinkable. If I had to describe it, it tasted like month old chocolate protein shake mixed with mildewed water. It was genuinely horrible. I’ve never complained about a drink IN MY LIFE. This was the first time.
I immediately went back in to kindly express my concerns with staff. Instead of identifying what was wrong with the drink they made me, they agreed that the flavor was “GROSS”… they made me a new smoothie, then proceeded to charge me for the replacement smoothie.. even after checking with the owner who said “nothing was wrong with the drink”… I’m serious, it was so disgusting.
If you are going to charge over $10 for a smoothie, it should at least be consumable.
So now I have paid over $20 for one consumable drink. Seems a bit outrageous to me. Either stand behind your product, or don’t sell gross stuff. Super disappointed.
