I’ve had good experiences in the past for sure, but this most recent visit prompted me to write this:
Ordered a combo for pick up over the phone, specified it was the 20 inch, asked for no ham substitute more turkey, and a cookie.
I walk in, no line whatsoever, and my pick up order was not only almost 40 dollars because they made me two sandwiches? I was in a rush to get back to work so I just took it, I’ll just eat sandwiches for the next couple days.
They charged me for extra meat (4 dollars) to substitute the ham for turkey, and I get home, and open my sandwich to find It’s over half ham. Now I can’t eat either sandwiches and I’m out $40. Like I’ve said though, they’re a good local joint, worth trying, but the past couple times and this time left me sour.

i have been coming here since i was a kid. the BEST bread in the world — the BEST sandwiches in the world!!! i usually get the turkey club. their dressing on the veggies is a perfect ratio and you can get 4 servings of sandwich out of their large. exceptional the next day even, the bread holds up!! i was home for a couple weeks and absolutely had to bring my partner here and he agreed that the sandwiches here are an institution.
Visited late August 2024. Got a full size 10" sub and two bottled drinks. With tip the total was just under $20. Staff were friendly, food was delicious, atmosphere was casual. I found their 10" sub to be just as filling as a Subway footlong but the Krazy Moose sub tasted much better. If I lived near this place I would eat there often.

Neat little place. I ordered a 5” Italian and potato salad. The sub was very good. The potato salad tasted like it was prepackaged (I don’t think they make it there, but I could be wrong). The total for my meal with a fountain drink was around $17

Very quirky cool place. Food is decent for sure. Thankful for this place making my alaskan trip a little bit more special.
Spur of the moment stop on the way from Denali to Girdwood. Pleasant surprise, highly recommend! The sandwiches were delicious. We were a group of 14. Super fast and easy. Great place!

Had a lovely lunch here on my drive north! The food was top notch for a reasonable price and the staff were very friendly!! An awesome building with some historical photos of the town hanging on the walls.
