Leo’s Doner Kebab & Pizzeria

I’m so sad that we have not found this place sooner. Even though there were several orders in front of ours, we did not wait long and the food is AMAZING! We will definitely be back.

I was stationed in Europe and one of my favorite foods was Döner Kebab and it has been a struggle to find a place to scratch that itch and Leo’s did it! The food was amazing all around, flavorful and fresh. Definitely the best Döner I have had state side hands down.

I took 3 bites with kebab and the rest of the sandwich was lettuce and tomatoes,I took my food to go so maybe that’s why they barely put any meat in it,i paid $24 for lettuce and tomatoe sandwich,the fries was really good and the lady at the register was really nice
If you want kebab that will fill you in and worth your money go to Meraki Hellenic grill

Closest thing I've had in Alaska to a German style doener kebab. Not cheap but very tasty. Pizza looked good but haven't had it yet.

The falafel was amazing! Great flavor, well fried, and the sandwich was generously sized. Definitely coming back.

The service was great and the servers were lovely and accommodating.

The Gorgonzola salad dressing was very good! Salad is just iceberg lettuce with tomato, onion and cucumbers.

Falafel was shockingly bad and I was super hungry after foraging and still thought it was bad. The falafel was mushy and lacked a nice herby flavor. Seemed like it was either made from a box mix or with canned chickpeas. The Pattie’s were flat and not crispy on the outside at all. This place needs to use soaked chickpea and fava beans and fresh herbs not canned or a box mix. Especially for $20.

Also proper white garlic sauce and green sauce on the sandwich would be great. Garlic sauce tasted more like Mayo with lemon and a little garlic.

I saw this place was advertised as selling falafel. I’m shocked that it was highlighted.

I chose to give a 3 star feedback because I would like to give this place a second chance before I give a poor review. I wish google gave a 10 point scale on restaurants. A 4 star would be too high and a 3 star does feel a little low but it’s the closest I can give. On a 10 point scale I’d give it a 7.1. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza it was very salty, so salty I could only eat one piece. The center was very floppy but had nice crisp as you got closer to the edge. The crust is yellow and it seems they use lots of corn meal in it, that I’m not a fan of. the top was also really greasy. I was surprised because after seeing all the 5 start reviews i thought for sure I found a lock for a good pizza place. I sense this place has quite a few insider reviews if you know what I mean. That being said Perhaps something happened this evening (late on a Friday) and there was a mistake mixing the crust or sauce. I can’t imagine with a near 5 star rating it’s always this way which is why I chose to leave a positive 3 star but constructive feedback. I also ordered a doner kabob which was decent and quality ingredients although the bread was over seasoned imo. The lady on the phone was very nice and the food arrived quickly

Me and my husband live close by and decided to give Leo’s a try without having visited their food truck before and it is now our new favorite place! The food is insanely delicious and very reasonably priced. The employees are wonderful and the service is quick! We love this place!
