My husband and I decided to grab a bite to eat at Marcello's in Wasilla while we waited for our daughter to finish her painting class. We had never eaten here, so we were game to try it out. The decor was nothing special, but never judge a book by its cover. We were greeted quickly and given water within minutes, and then I ordered a Shirley Temple, which I witnessed being made, and was deeply disappointed because it was not a Shirley Temple - it was a Sprite with some cherries...read full review
Did not realize until after I made an order that Marcelo‘s supports anti-hunting groups that is not a very good idea living in the state of Alaska
Our fried mushrooms appetizer was still frozen inside when we got it. The Baked ravioli and ziti bottega was bland and came out to the table in under 10 minutes of ordering indicating it was microwaved or leftover. The breadsticks were chewy and I question if they were actually bread or not. Good service but absolutely terrible food. Don’t waste $60+ eating here like my wife and I did. Edit: wife and I ended up getting what we think is food poisoning from here. FOODIE BEWARE
