Really good food & atmosphere. Service was great as well. Great kitchen staff... Located in the cool clocktower building. It's not Meta & Rose anymore. New ownership & spot which will also have a new name... Had the mushroom risotto, French onion soup, butter noodles for baby, the dirty chicken alfredo, the steak, the beignets, & some wine. All excellent👌Meat & vegetables all cooked perfectly. My pictures aren't great since we couldn't help but dig in right away as all looked so scrumptious... They haven't had their grand opening, yet. From what we experienced so far, we will most definitely be back for more & often!

Tables were only 1/3 capacity when I arrived/the whole time I was there and I still waited 40mins for food. Was offered the wrong meal first and didn’t see my waitress again after she dropped off my drink until it was time for my bill. Potatoes were cold. I decided to give it another chance after bad service here in the past and I will not be returning.

We went here for brunch, and the food was so delicious! So delighted to meet the owner and talk to him! He even cut up & made mini portions for my 14 month old! The food was so delicious and the atmosphere was great. So fortunate to have this gem in the valley.🤍

Kid-friendliness: The owner stated he could make mini portions of anything on the menu to accommodate your little one! I LOVED this idea!!

Quite possibly the best deviled eggs I've had in my life! I also enjoyed the Wellington sandwich, and the Japanese sweet potato cheesecake. The presentation of the menu items was amazing on all three, but the cheesecake presentation was another level! This was my first time here and I was blown away by the hospitality, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the food quality, and I'm looking forward to next time now that I was told about "the secret menu" 5 stars !

I've been to some of the finer restaurants around the country, but have yet to find something as spectacular as Meta & Rose in Wasilla, AK. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service, and the food is...well, there's hardly any words that can describe how good it is. I had the Pork Belly and Scallop Risotto and my husband had the Halibut. Amazing! And don't skip the desserts!

sign said seat yourself so we did and several waiters passed but they didn’t acknowledge us. After sitting for 15 mins without so much as a “I’ll be with you shortly” despite a hardly filled dining area, we just got up and left. We ended up going to The Last Frontier Brewing Company across the street and got much better service as soon as we walked in.

Outstanding! It was my wife's birthday so we thought we’d give this place a try after hearing good things about it. Very friendly staff. Food was absolutely delicious. All the small details made for a fantastic dinning experience. If you haven’t tried it I would highly suggest it. Be sure to order the old fashioned drink and have Josh prepare it, trust me you’ll love it!

Me and my Fiancee John were coming from Anchorage, AK to visit Wasilla, AK for a fun road trip the day before Labor Day. At first they were closed to prepare for dinner at 4pm, so we walked around the clock tower mall and and visited a couple shops before arriving back to Meta and Rose Restaurant. We went back at around 4pm and waited to be seated. It did take about 5 minutes to get seated, but we were greatly greeted by the Owner of the restaurant who gave us a tour of his foods and drinks menu.

My Fiancee was intrigued to hear how the old fashioned drink was a signature drink from the owner. We didn't expect much from the drink, but it was such an experience we've never had. I was totally surprised with the foods that were brought to us, in such a beautiful matter and each bite was exquisite. We've been to many, many restaurants and by far this is the fanciest and best restaurant we've ever been too. We normally don't like to go far for a restaurant, but for Meta and Rose Restaurant, we will visit ?. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience and delightful food. Meta and Rose will be our favorite Restaurant in all of Alaska.

Food and service were excellent. We were able to eavesdrop and people watch other customers so my wife and I barely even had to talk to each other. We will be back!
