My wife and I took our girls here for dinner and were blown away. The food is house made, fresh salsa, real guacamole, fantastic tortillas. None of the canned refried beans and boxed Spanish rice filling the void on a lifeless plate. For all of us that have suffered for years at Chepos, this is a night and day experience. Great portions, very reasonable prices, and friendly staff. I can’t speak high enough of this restaurant. We had the fajita quesadilla, fajita taco, and deluxe burrito. We ordered flan for dessert which was amazing, and also made in house.

I say this as a South Texas Mexican who didn’t expect much from a Taqueria in Alaska (sorry Wasillites); the tacos I had were fantastic! Great flavor in every bite and every bit authentic. Highly recommend and will likely come back before I leave Alaska.

This place is adorable! I loved the ambiance inside and the server was excellent.
She brought us extra chips upon request and the salsa bar is a really nice compliment to the white queso.
Clean bathrooms and plenty of parking to go along with some tasty Mexican food!

Hidden Gem. Definitely should try if your wanting Mexican food. Street tacos were awesome, got a burrito as well. Even the rice and beans are delicious!

Definitely coming back. Great customer service, First time here so she told us where everything was. I got two tacos. The food got to the table fast and was wonderful! The meat was juicy and perfectly cooked, but the tortilla was a little bit sour. The free chips were hard, but it was fine. The horchata was refillable and the chairs were painted very well. There were paintings on the walls. It really changed from the photos in the reviews. This time it was really nice! Coming back. See you soon!
