I’m mad at myself for not trying them sooner! I will definitely be making this my number one take out spot!! BEST PAD THAI IN THE VALLEY!! Coming from someone who has tried every popular Thai restaurant!!! I was always disappointed by the Thai food here compared to other Alaskan towns but so happy I tried Pho Lucky. BEST SPRING ROLLS IN THE VALLEY TOO! My set were fresh, made to order, with a yummy sweet and tangy fish sauce that rivals all others here. Very impressed and will be back!

The phad Thai and sweet coconut rice are my favorites. They have daily menu offerings to change up the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is set up for karaoke 🎤 plenty of seating 💺

⭐ Pho Lucky – Best Pho in the Valley! ⭐
📍 7362 W Parks Hwy #19-20, Wasilla, AK

I’ve had a lot of pho around Alaska, and I can confidently say Pho Lucky is the best in the Valley—hands down. The broth was rich, flavorful, and steaming hot, served with generous cuts of oxtail that were fall-off-the-bone tender. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and everything was beautifully balanced with fresh herbs, onions, and green onions.

What really stood out was the amazing service. The server was super kind and attentive—she even brought me extra bean sprouts and mint without me asking, which I really appreciated. You can tell they care about the customer experience.

I also tried their sesame chicken with rice, and it was just as impressive. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, not greasy at all, and topped with sesame seeds. The portion was huge, and I honestly cleaned the plate and the bowl—I was absolutely stuffed by the end, but in the best way.

Yes, it's a little on the pricier side for pho, but honestly? Totally worth it. The quality, the service, and the portions justify the price. And while it’s located a bit out of the main part of town, don’t let that stop you—this place is a hidden gem that’s worth the short drive.

If you’re in the Wasilla area or anywhere nearby, make the trip. You won’t regret it.
5/5 stars. Will definitely be back!

The egg rolls and goyza were good. Our main courses were bland, it seems like they relied wholly on the sauce to flavor the dish. As a result the course was actually kind of bland.

I lived in Seattle when the 1st Thai restaurant was opened. Believe it or not, it was an old A&W drive in, remodeled. The Prime Minister of Thailand came to a convention and ate at this restaurant which launched an entirely new wave of residents craving authentic Thai food. I can tell you without a doubt, THIS IS THE BEST THAI I've ever had in Alaska. It absolutely rivals this Seattle based Thai Restaurant, the best in Seattle. Don't try Thai in Alaska until you try Pho Lucky!!! Absolutely delicious. hands down!!!!!!

I don’t rate 5 stars that often. If you want healthy, nutrient dense, home cooked meals. This is your spot. I challenge you to eat this and tell me it doesn’t taste like a homemade meal.

Kid-friendliness: Very peaceful environment for kids. My kids enjoyed it.

Great spot and it wasn’t too busy! I got the peanut butter sauce pad and it was delicious. It was enough for 2 meals easily and I took some home. At a pretty good price point too and tasted great with fresh ingredients. Staff was friendly and quick.

Best Pho in the valley. I of course would like more meat in my pho. The pho broth has fantastic flavor, the shrimp in a blanket is tasty. Prices are what you’d expect in Alaska, and in the valley. Great place for fried rice too. They are always friendly, and fast service.

The pho was delicious, lovely broth. Beef meatballs, which I rarely see. Papaya salad was plain but yummy. Curry was good too. Atmosphere is neat, it looks like it was an old church that had a bar?! Will stop next time I'm on a trip for sure.
