Pulled up to Wasilla Sonic at 9:45 as we where getting ready to pull in the drive through a guy stuck a sign in front of us not allowing us in. So we went around to the carhop spot only to be told they where already closed. I mean I get it they felt like they wherent busy so close a little early but to actually block people from buying stuff from the company because you don’t want to work your entire shift? I was more then a little disappointed.

I pulled into slot 4 around 3:50pm. All I ordered was a small order of cheese tots and was told it would be out to me "shortly". More than 25 minutes went by and I definitely noticed several people that arrived after me had already gotten their orders and left while I was still waiting. After the 25 minutes, I pressed the button again and asked how much longer it would be. They said that the person who took the order put it under the wrong slot and that they would get it out to me "shortly". I was not about to pay for cold, stale food that had been sitting on a counter for over 20 minutes and I certainly wasn't about to wait another 25 minutes for food that may or may not come. I told them that I don't even want it anymore and left without anything. I understand that mistakes can happen, but how can the entire staff not notice someone sitting there for that long and not put two and two together? Do better!

Got take out food for our family drive from Wasilla to Anchorage. We got 2 milkshakes, both were good. We ordered chicken tenders and fries for our little one. the tenders were pretty good, but the fries were over salted which my daughter liked. The service was good considering how busy they were

Just came from the drive one of the stalls. My kids loved the Fred costume who delivered our goodies. They also seen Daphne. Thank you sonic crew for always be so cool. Also we loved the corn dogs and drink we ordered

The service was actually fast unlike most "fast" food restaurants but the fries tasted like they were fried in donut oil and thats disgusting but the burger was good

I've tried this place 3 times & they always get the food wrong. I asked for buffalo sauce twice. When the guy read back the order, he didn't say buffalo, so I repeated again. I checked my bag for sauce after that. It was there, so I drove off only to find they gave me ONION RINGS instead of chili TOTS. Like, that's not even close.

Ran through drive-thru for quick breakfast. Friendly service, freshly made food and it tasted great! Breakfast burrito with sausage was yummy and so we're the tater tots!

So this place used to be excellent, but I must update my review after a few years of being open they have declined. The location has smashed trash cans in the bathroom. Card readers that dint work properly they can't seem to retain staff, so they are constantly understaffed. The food came quick enough. They no longer offer a military discount across the board they claim the combos are already discounted. This is not the same at any other sonic location. Finally, the food sucked my chicken sandwhich was overcooked and dry. I hope they bounce back and become the great location they used to once be.
Excellent food and superior service. Everything you could want waited on opening day an hour to eat it so much worth it!!! My dog even got a Corn dog!
