This shop is unbelievably cute. They mainly sell souvenirs, but the selection feels genuinely Alaskan in a way that’s hard to find. Many of the items are unique and have real local character. It doesn’t feel like the typical tourist shop where everything is stamped with a huge “ALASKA” label. The products here feel more thoughtful, distinctive, and fun to browse.
On the day I visited, there was only one woman working. She was handling the register and also managing a small coffee bar area in the back, so she was basically running the entire place by herself. When more customers came in, there was some waiting, which was understandable given the limited staffing. If you enjoy hunting for souvenirs with local flavor, this is a lovely spot to check out if you’re passing by.

I like going in here and browsing the selection, most stuff is really overpriced, so if I do go in I only buy 1 item or 2 . The coffee ☕ is not very good , would not recommend. I would recommend SPUNKY MONKEY if you need a gift last minute their is really something for every one .

I was banned from the business’ social media page for asking why comments were being deleted. Locals are blasting this business for embezzling the vendors profits. I would recommend buying DIRECTLY from these vendors and not Spunky Monkey

If you want to support local vendors, this is not the place to go. They don't pay out what they owe, and the local artists go without their rightfully and hard earned paycheck.

This use to be one of my favorite places to shop however the last handful of times I was in, I was not treated kindly by the older cashier that works there.. she is rude, fully lacking in all customer service experience and lastly she was yelling at younger staff employee when they needed help.. this is truly such a shame as this is a wonderful place with great items but the lack of kindness will not have me back wasting my money and helping with that cashiers paycheck.
Just discovered this place yesterday and can already tell it will be a stop whenever I come through town. Talented local artists and a fun atmosphere to browse and get inspired for my own crafting hobby. If you're visiting and want real Alaskan souvenirs to bring home to friends and family, this is the place. Looking forward to the opening of the bigger space!
